Trekking across endless miles of countryside, wandering down roads with signs marked in foreign tongues, crossing time zones and national borders without realizing it, all the while not having anything resembling a watch. Forgetting the day or even the month became ludicrously easy as the passage of time seemed to move as fast as Brown did in her travels. However the moment Brown stopped was the moment everything slowed down. It was rare she stop in her travels, when she did it was often because she didn't have any choice. Broken bones and compounded ribs from botched fights usually being the 'choice'. Being injured slowed everything down. Brown wasn't one to let pain stop her. Yet even as she bit back the pain of her wounds, she was bitten right back. The pain ate at her. Hindering her movements, her very thoughts. Pain made every single second perceivable. A cut turned a minute into an hour. A dislocated shoulder turned a day into a week. Having twice her usual fare of Full Release injuries at the end of the Rio tournament...well they turned what was a week into a brief eternity for Brown. For the first three days she couldn't really walk and could only barely sit herself up in bed. However after that she was able to move with some help until she was eventually moving around on her own. By the end of the week and their arrival in Germany her injuries had mostly healed, and time seemed to move seamlessly once again. Brown sat in the back of the jeep as it chugged along through the bitter Germanic cold. A smile was on her face and she seemed to enjoy every bump and pothole the jeep hit, as if she was on a roller coaster ride. Despite being in near constant pain for most of the week and under the delirium of high grade pain killers given to her by Jonas, Brown had enjoyed herself. Being around others who didn't seem to want to harm her was a foreign experience for the girl. Outside of her mother there was no one who she had stayed with who hadn't betrayed, fought, or tried to kill her. Another foreign experience was money. When Jonas had given her a share of the money he had 'retrieved' from the stadium Brown thought it was just a joke. It was only after she was told he wasn't kidding was she struck with the awe of having currency to buy things with. Of course she didn't know what to do with the sizeable amount of cash and Otsana had helped her put it into a special 'Black' checking account that she could access from various places in the world with different degrees of money exchange. Brown had kept a good wad of money on her person and was quick to start getting sweets and warm food whenever the chance arose. Everyone had suggested buying warmer clothes for Germany, but Brown merely put down the money for several brick sized bars of sweet German chocolate instead. As they rode along in the jeep Brown snacked. The sides of her pale cheeks were stained with half-melted/half frozen chocolate as she chewed heartily, grinning and rocking in her seat as she ate. Brown was still dressed in her battered boots, camouflaged pants, belt in place of a bra, and her battered jacket unzipped at the front. However she seemed un-phased even as the blistering cold blew straight through her. As a practitioner of G-tummo, Brown could freely control the temperature of her body. Some had to undergo intense meditation. Brown meanwhile had gained such a control over her battered, diseased body that she could adjust her temperature with minor concentration. Even in the bitter cold she felt perfectly fine, though her chocolate bars got very melty in her overly warm hands. "This chocolate *chew* is so good! *chew* Does anyone want some of-" Brown held up a gooey chocolate bar nearly half the size of a clip board, speaking with her cheeks packed to the brim with coco goodness. However her offer was cut short as the distant sound of danger reached her ears. Peering into the distance she saw and heard the pretense of a massive, metal machine in the shape of some kind of flying monster. The fighter's eyes narrowed and her pupils began to dilate, ready for another bloody fight. However the lack of reaction from Jonas snapped her out of her killing focus and she looked around the jeep awkwardly. "Uh, I've never been to Germany before. Is that super loud murder machine normal? Because I don't think that's normal..."
