Vladimir's words did nothing but make the parasol-twirling vampire even angrier. She called him a "leech mutt", which Eloise found peculiar (yet strangely appropriate). Eloise was surprised at how readily she came to her defense. That, she thought, has certainly never happened before. Not after she'd been turned, anyway. Hank, on the other hand, didn't seem to be particularly worked up about the presence of Vladimir and the golden-eyed vampire. Now that Eloise thought about it; wasn't there another vampire who helped the Covenant? What was his name? Michael? Micah? Mithias? Something like that. Eloise barely had a chance to register what everyone was saying before she felt the shorter vampire tightly grab hold of her and start running faster than Eloise would have ever thought possible, bringing Eloise along with her. Eloise, for her part, did her best not to get in the way, and simply let the other vampire drag her along as trees and brush melted into one big blur. "Where...where are we going?" She gasped out, unsure if the other vampire would even hear her.
