Everyone knows the San Francisco doesn’t run itself. It takes brains, skill, organization, and above all, power to run the well oiled machine that is this city. The Abascal family runs the North Side, holding all clubs, banks, and the North Side Police Department in their territory. The Wraith family owns the south side of the city. Several banks, a police department, clubs, bars, and a chain of movie theaters. He also has several illegal gambling clubs going on on the side. The Orndorff family controls of the eastern side of the city where he owns most banks, clubs, bars and the police department. The Dragomir family is newly established. They own the streets and if you cross into their area without an invitation or cause trouble, well… you know how this ends. Most people just accept these families as their modern royalty, they make the rules and everyone follows. There are the few in the city that reject these crime bosses and their way of life, but they rarely stick around to object.

Not only do these Mafia Lords rule the streets, they also rule the night…. Well according to legend. But the legends have it wrong. These blood suckers can walk in the day, they just happen to be weaker. Their thirst for blood is never ending, perfect for their chosen profession. Welcome to the world where Mafia’s still exist and it is worse than you think, because undead and unholy beasts run these major crime organizations and no one is safe. 

Recently, vampires and werewolves alike have gone missing. At first, it was thought they had left, fled from fear of something they did to piss of their family. But others, the ones that were loved and respected by the families have also gone missing. A war is about to break out among the rulers of the city and their followers if the culprit is not caught soon.



The rules for creating a vampire/werewolf are simple. We need to know if you want to be a crime boss or just a follower. If you are a crime boss, you will need to choose a last name for your family and choose a section of the city to have control over. Write a simple one or two sentence blurb about the section such as I have done (The Abascal family runs the North Side, holding all clubs, banks, and the North Side Police Department in their territory. They own the streets and if you cross into their area without an invitation or cause trouble, well… you know how this ends) so that I can add it to the introduction of the RP. You can choose to include a background for your family as well, but it is not required. Bits of family info can be included in the Bio section of the CS, but if you want to provide a lengthy background, please post it separately. The background along with the CS will both need to be approved. If your character is a follower, we just need to know what family they are in and the information provided in the CS. All vamps can walk during the day, but they are weakened by the sunlight, super human strength and speed, they can mind control humans, and everyone gets one special gift (shapeshift into a bat, shadow bending, telekinesis etc.) Werewolves have the same basic guidelines. They can walk during the day and have super human strength and speed, but obviously they are stronger in their wolf form. The bite/venom of one can kill the other. 

Humans are allowed in this RP, but if they know about Vamps and Wolves, they have to have a reason and background. No humans just kinda wondering around please. 

Suggestions for Special Powers:
Shadow Bending: Can manipulate shadows. Though you can control shadows, make yourself invisible, engulf others in darkness, hear voices through their shadows, you cannot directly control anyone through their shadows. 

Telekinesis: Can move objects and things with your mind. This power can be used on anything that is not a Vampire or Werewolf. You cannot lift buildings or gigantic things. 

Mind reading: Read people's minds. Cannot control their thoughts. 

Animal Control: Can command animals. Can only command two at a time.
