[@Panko] - That's the question, I'm having a fumble of thoughts. I'm thinking a bit of both, considering the inter-crossing dynamics and reoccurring theme of wolfish devices, and come back to the concept of a wolf vs. a coyote. Perhaps there's some commingling of positive and negative reception, a basic theory and feeling of something that sets them apart because one is similar to the other, but given a mutual turn of understanding in their brief connections through general education, a wolf can respect a coyote in her midst to some slight terms, but there's something that prevents the two from ever coming together as "friends." It's vague, but I'm okay with indistinct acquaintances to build upon through out.
That's fair. A she-wolf and a coyote might feel some kind of familiarity with each other, but it's veiled behind wariness. They can respect each other and work in tandem if they have a mutual interest, but after that they part ways without any fanfare. Abysso might be able to see from Liesabet's point of view if he set his mind to it, but there wouldn't be a significant reason for that level of interest. Indistinct acquaintances seems about right, with what we currently have to work with. I think before posting in the IC, I'm going to want to establish any possible kinships that Abysso might have with the others, so it's clear who he would and wouldn't recognize in the Carrier.
