In her present mood, she really didn't care about what was happening outside the moving vehicle. Destruction and mayhem all around them and she didn't even wanna look to see if they'd make it out alive. Chaos was a part of her life the moment she woke up with an X mark on her throat and a power that was in all sense morbid. Even though her classmates all probably valued her safety, she found that it didn't matter if she lived or died. Sure, she escaped death from that head wound she had when USARILN found her but a day will come when she'll eventually find herself at the end of the line. If that was today then she couldn't and wouldn't really do anything about it. She heard the voices transmitting from the cuffs. An argument. Plans. Slime. Guns. Shooting through Zoe. Range. Again, she paid them no heed. She just didn't want to care. Why should she when there were so many people more capable than her in helping out exterminate the danger? Her earlier excitement about helping out and her initial confidence that her powers can do significant damage to the enemies were gone. There was no point in moving from where she was sitting. If someone needed healing then maybe...maybe she could help out...if she wanted to. Kusari's voice calling out her name made the blonde Aberration finally open her eyes. "Will you be able to come with me to help Allison and Zoe?" Dulled golden orbs stared at the pale Arbiter. Kusari was her escape from pain and the answer to her stigma. Her abilities to heal anything she transferred to her was amazing. But even though the girl was immortal, she hated passing pain onto her but at the same time enjoyed it. Morbid. She wanted to say no. It was easy. No need for words. Just a simple shake of her head. They would allow her to stay in the truck won't they? They valued her safety, didn't they? She had to be kept out of harm's way, wasn't she? And choosing to stay was perfectly fine, right? In the corner of her eye, she saw one of the guards looking at her. He was one of the first few regulars that she had healed after some contemplation. She glanced briefly towards him and he immediately averted his gaze but not before Lily caught his look. A mixture of pity and fear. Seeing that look made Lily immediately change her mind. Being out in the field helping out people who were like her and who understood her was so much better than having to endure stares like that from people who should have been thankful she helped them. She turned her attention back to Kusari, a determined look replacing the bored one on her face. She could still feel the lightheadedness and the fatigue but it didn't really matter. "Yes," she nodded. "Let's go."
