He's going to school in Japan. If the rumors about the Japanese education system or socially expected work ethic are to be believed, he won't be around for a while.

As for you joining, boomlover, I personally have no problem with it but there is one issue: We are far away from any point where we could bring your character in that makes sense story wise. The closest would be for you to be with a certain person we will be meeting in a day or two (IC), but that's like... 2-3 scenes ahead. It's going to be a while.
