Nick was very much confused as Dolores took her time answering him. She also hid her face which made him think she was pretty shy. It was also possible he was so ugly that she couldn't bare to look at him. Nick didn't think he was [i]that[/i] ugly but beauty was in the eye of the beholder after all.

And after squeezing those words out, Dolores bolted away. Well, tried to anyway for in her haste, she lost mind of her footing and tripped to the floor. "Hey! Are you all right?!" A concerned Nick asked, quickly moving to help Dolores back to her feet. 

"Why don't we calm down for a moment?" Nick smiled at Dolores to try and stabilize the situation. "We're not in any rush or anything and I'm not going to bite."
