Yeeah, there was probably a bit more thought that I could've put into the scene.
With the stagnantion and how everything started, there wasn't much that could be done for non-combatant characters...and there may not be for another round.

The plan kinda fell through in ways I should have seen coming, but after being violently ill off and on for the last week, I just wanted to get something up because of the hype train.
Still, it's these kinda of errors that I feel will end up stealing the wind from my own sails for the bits I had planned. It was never my intention to start the thread [i]here[/i], and all it's really done is a disservice to people who've been patient only to again be left waiting.

The promise of another post, today, doesn't really solve the main problem. Sure, it may stall things for a bit at the cost of more loveless work for little result, but I wouldn't want to pressure people into posting in this situation.
