Exactly what it says (or rather, asks) on the tin.

Imagine the Digital World, and the (as of Generation VII) 7 Pokémon Regions, combined into a modern-setting world. And where the respective denizens live together in a world like humans do: One with each unique traits like given names, personality, sense of purpose and have lives.

Also, to put the better 'Mon argument to rest, as both are better in their own right, you can be a fan of both, and most importantly, why have them battle each other when they're better together anyway!
