Central Park
Dragon chuckled a bit. "Shit, kid, I also got places to be." He clapped a hand against Vice's non-flaming shoulder. "Hopefully she's less trouble than that thing." He nodded towards the snapper as it splashed into the lake, thrashing for abut before realising nobody was bothering it and sinking beneath the surface for what Dragon hoped was a nice, long nap. Speaking of, he felt like he could use an hour or two. When did heroics start feeling like a job? Or maybe it was that idiot he had for a brother. "Ugh." He rubbed his hand against his forehead, then caught sight of the press. Thankfully having enough speed to get around their blockade, he coasted to a gentle jog at the other end of the park. His phone beeped, and he grinned. Maria had come through with the recipe, and he headed off to find the best ingredients. Near his place, there was a guy with a food stall. He wouldn't sell everything, but if anyone else knew where to find coriander seeds and garam masala, he would. After a profitable afternoon of following up on his contact's tips, Dragon headed home, smelling of exotic spices, and began cleaning his apartment, whistling.

Harpy's Skyscraper
Spectrum glowed bright white in the forcefield as the behir sent her tumbling with a flick of its tail. She crumpled up, head-down, against a wall covered in harpy... Well, she wasn't going to think about that and the possibility of it ruining her date. She shivered a little as she stood, Protector White having ensured most of it didn't reach her. "Eew." Getting her bearings again, the monster shot past on the ceiling, still chasing the devil, whose blasts seemed to be hurting and irritating it in equal measure. "Over that way!" she yelled, then realised she was pointing in the wrong direction, and used the other arm. "That way!" Of course, her shouting cued the giant outside to reach in. A coughing screech from the behir sounded like he'd caught its tail. It slipped free though, and bit the new, confusing adversary. Spectrum took the opportunity to switch to Melee Green and physically push the beast towards the giant. She managed to get a grip on two of its left legs, and though the behir was flexible, it wasn't flexible enough to bite her. Its tail whipped around again, slamming her back. "HEY! WAY BIG! OVER HERE!" She shouted, turning the behir so it was lengthways to the window, parallel to the wall. "GRAB IT!"
