[@Naril] Far enough. Just really enjoy those videos so it had me thinking. Honestly, if I tried to apply it to my solo writing I'd have the weirdest 5 man bad ever. Even if I literally force people into their closest role. My biggest project would have: lancer, lancer, lancer, lancer, smart guy. It's kinda hilarious. Same time I put that to my pokemon team in that same story and it works strangely perfect if I put the trainer as a mentor.
Leader = Yanso, Grovyle, the trainer's Ace pokemon Lancer = Pierce, Kabutops, rivals Ace for leadership, but loses in power a sort of reversal on leaders as Yanso gets the position because he's the Ace not because he's a good leader. Smart Guy = Lucas, Noctowl, a pretty straight forward owl with psychic abilities is the smart one Big Guy = Tex, Lairon, big slow loyal metal puppy lizard Heart = Plasum, Haunter, the big happy go lucky ghost who ironically loves life Tag-a-long kids/apprentices = Barones, Buizel and Nort, Swinub two noobie pokemon also on the team who haven't grown up yet. Ranger = Rath, Houndour, badass pokemon from the ruins who walks a thin line. Mentor = Jaklo, the trainer, put them together and they work SOOOOOOO well.
