Although having a head full of gorgeous hair, Val prefers to wear her hair in protective styles (braids, weaves, wigs), which allow her hair to grow quicker and healthier. There's a certain elegance in the way that Val carries herself: good posture, long confident strides and her head held high. She often looks taller than her height of 5'10, especially since she's always wearing heels when she has the chance. 

Her eyes are large and almond shaped, the brown of the irises so dark that they almost appear to be black. Her eyes are fringed with long, thick lashes. She has a short, delicate nose and perfectly arched, dark eyebrows. Her face is heart-shaped; she has high cheekbones and a pointed chin. Her lips are full and always covered with a clear lip gloss. [indent]If you had to describe Valentina in one word, most people would choose terms along the lines of intelligent, adamant, or charismatic. While she can't entirely deny any of those, Valentina considers the core aspect of her personality to be passion and determination. Her intelligence is mostly based on her determination to do well. All through grade school, Val studied her ass off in order to make it where she is now. She also began learning more advanced material at a young age in an effort to "keep up" with her elder brother. Val is also very creative and craves adventure, thrills, and new things. A generally optimistic, upbeat person, Val is the sort of person to chat with anyone and everyone whether it be on public transport, in shops, or even on the street. Like most extroverted introverts, however, alone time is still necessary for Val to function, and she can’t be with people for excessive amounts of time without feeling drained.

While trying her best to be as unoffensive as possible to the widest number of people, she isn't too keen on keeping her opinions to herself. She loves a good debate, and generally joins in arguments whenever they crop up around her. She is a seemingly calm and laid-back girl, yet is by no means a pushover. She can more than take care of herself, but is smart enough to know when to pick a fight and when to let something go. She likes to see the good in life, and always wants to find better ways to handle problems. She believes that life is too short to dwell on mistakes or mishaps. She is someone who isn't weighed down by the troubles of everyday life, is not restricted by other people's opinions, and is always herself regardless of the situation.

Aside from being very friendly, Valentina is a perfectionist who has high standards for herself, and has a tendency to correct other people and nitpick. While being very articulate and outspoken, she does have the mouth of a sailor, and has to constantly remind herself to watch her language when in certain situations or settings. Val is confident in herself and her actions, often to a fault. She is very opinionated, has trouble asking for help, and hates admitting when she's wrong. It is very hard to make Val angry, but whenever someone does somehow push her to her limit, she'll snap; it will often result in her yelling a large number of obscene words, throwing objects, and even going as far as to get physical.

Despite all of her shortcomings, there's no denying that Valentina is extremely dependable. If you ask her to meet you somewhere, she will be there; if she promises to do something, she will do it; if you ask her for help, she will do everything in her power to assist. She cares about people and is innately sympathetic to others plights, she often gets herself muddled up in social movements within her community, and she notices & remembers small things about others. [indent]Valentina and Micheal August Jr. were womb-mates, born just three minutes apart on June 14th to Renee and Micheal August, a middle class couple residing in Detroit. The pair did practically everything as they grew up; they shared rooms until they were thirteen, had the same group of friends, participated in the same sports or extra-curriculars, liked the same things, etc. It wasn't until the two were fifteen that they started to drift a bit apart; Valentina wanted to model whereas Micheal focused his energy on football. Still to this day, however, they are the best of friends.

The pair grew up in a small apartment building in downtown Detroit. They lived a basically normal life, that is, until her mother finally landed her first professional acting gig, the movie role that would just mark the start of her very successful career. The twins were thirteen years old when their mom got her big break in a Hollywood film. Ever since then, their lives have changed dramatically: money was no longer an issue, people treated the family better, etc. It was also a bit easier for Valentina to break into modelling now that her mother had a bunch of connections.

Ever since Val was a young girl, however, she knew that she wanted to do more than just model; her pretty face wasn't going to last forever. Due to this mindset, she always strives to do her best in school. She'd been accepted into multiple colleges, some even with an academic scholarship, but chose Hollywood University so that she could see her mother more often.[/indent]
