She was apparently trying to be stealthy about it. While using both hands. She... would not make a very good thief. At all, she thought to herself. The shield wasn't budging, and Ashe felt the tiniest twinge of an urge to try moving it herself. Self control! I can mess with that some other time. A new girl in a maid getup wandered onto the scene out of nowhere. Ashe wasn't entirely sure she'd seen her in the class before, but then, she hadn't exactly been paying attention. And holy shit was this girl nervous -- Ashe couldn't really handle nervous too well. Thankfully, Skye saved her the effort of talking first. She seemed to have nerves of steel when it came to this sort of thing. Ashe snorted at Skye's jest. It wasn't a good one. At all. But it worked. "Pfft. Yeah. Welcome to our sinking ship, Yue. I'm Ashe. You can sit here if you'd like," she said, and she lightly patted the seat next to her. All of a sudden the group had gotten much larger than she'd expected - hell, it'd doubled in size. Wasn't necessarily a bad thing, though. Truth be told, Ashe was pretty happy with the company that'd built up. And nobody had commented on her slightly, er, uncoordinated entrance to the classroom before, so she was feeling unexpectedly comfortable. "So, you new here too or something?," Ashe asked Yue. "I just arrived myself. Skye here's really cool. Don't mind the mask: it's just a thing she's been doing lately." Ashe shot a smile and a wink toward Skye. The emaciated Faunus had seemed rather uncomfortable talking about her situation earlier, so Ashe figured she should handle the talking on that topic for now. Or Bianca could do it - the winged girl seemed to know Skye from somewhere. Teammates or something, perhaps, but Ashe was closer this time around, and Bianca seemed to be preoccupied with putting her purse on top of Ben's shield. Such strange people. Some time passed, and Ashe suddenly found herself asking the group, "Er, does anyone know when the class is actually starting...?" It seemed very strange to her that the students could wander around and chat eachother up so freely for so long before the instructor stepped in to do... well, anything, really. Maybe that was just Beacon life. [@Ryonara][@FlitterFaux][@Write][@Krayzikk][@NarayanK]
