She grew up with a pretty average family, though her parents tended to be a bit distant. She's close with her siblings and shared a bedroom with Beatrice until Kenneth moved out for college. Beatrice was the only one who knew about the weird stuff (aka her magic showing itself) that happened around Vi because of this. Vi always felt a little like the outsider in her group of friends. She did have a best friend who she was very close with, but this best friend moved away when Vi was ten and they drifted apart. She lived a very average life until getting her letter for Hogwarts, and she feels like her whole life has just been filler leading up to this point.

I would go further than my father, however, in saying that I have never yet met the owner of a cedar wand whom I would care to cross, especially if harm is done to those of whom they are fond. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. Viola is very artistic and prides herself on being mature for her age. She likes to draw, sculpt, paint, cross-stitch, and do basically any other type of art, though she’s not very good at most of them. She’s naturally loud and very unapologetic about that. She also is obsessed with magic information and has been soaking up every bit of knowledge she can on the wizarding world ever since receiving her letter. She is very good at controlling her temper and likes to think through every option before making choices. This leads to her missing out on opportunities. She’s easily distracted and usually ignores more pressing matters to focus on something that caught her interest instead.

She chews pens and picks at her skin. She talks really fast and switches up letters a lot (ex: Yew Nork).

She really likes contemporary art and history. She loves to listen to and tell stories about anything. She’s a bit of a gossip and loves listening to her friends talk about their days.

She doesn’t like talking to people who she feels aren’t as intelligent as her. She hates being bored and sitting still for too long. She also doesn’t like the quiet.
