One can be the most horrific monster in all of creation, but to fool their audience of that fact is truly a tremendous feat. As such, the Empress prizes the elaborate finery of noble dresses and will almost always been seen in one. Though her most favorite outfit is a personal peach-tinted garb, she’s not above switching them out for more appropriate situations.
[sub]P E R S O N A L I T Y[/sub]
— "I don't speak insect, tehehehe!" The Empress is not someone who values the lives of others. What shred of humanity remaining in her heart, if she ever had one to begin with, is plagued by waking thoughts of how best to tinker and tamper away with the lives of those around her. Indeed, she holds loyalty to only a select few, those being the individuals who can entertain her. That being said, Lancelot’s ambitions are sure to give her enough room for amusement and she has no qualms with following him so long as it leads to something interesting. Above all else, Empress is a researcher and a scientist. Much like her servant Hohenheim, she will go to great lengths in sating her morbid curiosity and is no stranger to deadly experiments of the flesh. If one has the unfortunate luck of becoming one of her many test subjects, a reality of pain and stimulus lie in wait. The Empress has no sympathy for inferior lifeforms or those she considers beneath her, but at the very least she has enough sense to keep her disdain for such things hidden and subtle. Unlike her servant.
[sub]H I S T O R Y [/sub]
— "You want to know more about me little one? Fufufu~" Where did the Empress come from? That doesn’t matter. All that she’s willing to reveal is that there was once nothing and then suddenly there was something. That something was life and sentience, the creation that would eventually be marked as the Empress of the Court. What is the Court? Another question wasted on the ears of fools. A better question would be to ask why she chose to follow the betrayer Lancelot. That answer is much simpler. The Empress seeks knowledge above all else; nay, she craves for it. Chaos and information go hand in hand and when she caught wind of a young presence yearning to form a group of chaos, she was drawn in like a maggot seeking flesh. So she remains to this day, carrying out Lancelot’s will all in the name of research and security. At the end of it all, she expects nothing less than an amusing conclusion.
[sub]S P E C I E S [/sub]
— "Didn't I answer this?" ♔ Eldritch Horror?: What exactly is the Empress and her twisted little assistant? One is better off dissecting themselves than trying to gain an answer from her. She appears at most to be human, but looks can very well be deceiving. Some liken her to be a creature of primordial nature, a monster in mortal disguise. And frankly, it wouldn’t be too out of place to call the Empress an abomination of man and mind alike. No human could be so devoid of empathy.
[sub]A B I L I T I E S [/sub]
— "How long can you hold your breath?" ♔ Synthese: Whatever the Empress is, it’s shape and form is enough to influence the world around her wherever she goes. This phenomenon takes the form of an invisible mist of disease and pestilence with a wide variety of results on the intended victims. How far the Empress can extend this sphere of control is something she has yet to disclose, but one can assume she can poison entire cities quite easily. As this can be quite bothersome to approach allies with, she can determine when to activate the Synthese.
[sub]S K I L L S [/sub]
— "A little cut here, a tiny rip there..." ♔ Experimentation: The Empress is quite familiar with the anatomy of the human body, among various other creatures as well. A lifetime of ripping things open and seeing how they tick tends to give one that special forbidden knowledge. If something can be augmented or enhanced, torn apart and broken down, the Empress can no doubt accomplish it. And if she doesn’t, at least she’ll have fun making a big mess out of the subject. ♔ Alchemy: Much like her servant Hohenheim, the Empress is adept in the arts of alchemy. Admittedly she’s not as resourceful in this field compared to her servant-as if she would ever admit such a thing-but she knows enough for a base understanding of potion brewing. Frankly, she has no patience for the tedious practice and prefers to just chop something up instead. ♔ Cogitari: This ability allows the Empress to summon forth her trusted weapons, the Cogitari. Residing within her arms, her flesh will mold away and dispose itself to form two blunderbuss pistols. As opposed to firing conventional bullets, the Cogitari fires rounds of poisonous shells each designed by the Empress and Hohenhiem. As such, poisonous and disease-ridden effects vary. ♔ Zaestantia: Whatever the Empress is, it grants her the ability to summon a monstrous beast of power and devastation. Resembling a being of draconic appearance, this walking hazard is the Empress’ finest creation set upon the world. No doubt it is a plague given living, breathing function.
[sub]W E A K N E S S E S [/sub]
— "Me? Weak? I have no weakness." Despite her aloof nature and dark presence, the Empress is not one to throw herself in the front lines of a conflict. Rather, she prefers to act as a strategist or support to those calling themselves allies; any direct conflict for her will end in less than satisfactory results without relying on her Zaestantia. Furthermore, the further she is physically from Hohenheim, the weaker her powers and influence become.
[sub]E Q U I P M E N T [/sub]
— "I have just the thing to patch that up~" ♔ Mask: The Empress bears with her a featureless mask with two slits for eyes, pink and green in coloration. Perhaps it serves an ulterior purpose, yet so far it does nothing but act as a symbol of her rank among the Court. Whatever the Court actually is. ♔ Syringes: Several syringes are always carried on hand, each of them filled with a poisoning effect. After all, one never knows when an emergency kidnapping would need to be in order and Empress is always prepared to obtain new test subjects. If one is expecting to be healed by her, they should be asking an actual white mage.
[sub]R E L A T I O N S H I P S [/sub]
— "Ah, such sweet words from you my faithful Hohenheim!" ♔ Hohenheim: The Alchemist of Genesis is the being closest to the Empress of the Court. As her utmost loyal servant, the two share a twisted bond more closely knit than most relationships. They are connected by body, mind, and heart and it’s very probable to say that one cannot live without the other. Whether there is actual merit to that or it is some hidden truth to their pact remains to be seen.

[sub]♔ T H E M E ♔[/sub]

Who's Hohenheim?
