Maya Enilsdottir ___________________________________________ Sigh. First day of school was always a nuisance to Maya. Sitting by herself while her beautifully blonde hair slowly waved in the wind while the other students hooked up and mingled lightly between themselves. Talking about their vacations, their time missing one another, all of it. Maya resented this solitude, but whenever she tried to mingle, she seemed to scare everyone away instead. Why, she could not know, because she took good care of personal hygiene, her dialect did not show while talking, and she knew she was quite a beautiful specimen given her many blushful glances. If only one of those people would approach her without running away, tail between legs, perhaps she finally could make a friend? Or perhaps she should once again try to mingle and see if someone where willing to actually stay. Raising up with her fist clenched, a determined expression to her face, she decided that once again she should talk. And the queen of ice began walking from the safety of the tree's shadows, her every step moving towards the crowd. And, just like last year, she seemed to cut a way through the crowd while the younger juniors made way for her to walk. So they're still afraid, huh. And abruptly she stopped, gently tapping the shoulder of one while watching her jump in fear at her stance. "A-ah, y-yes, Senpai?" She said with a trembling voice. As if just the touch alone sent a wave of ice and snow through her spine, chilling her body to negative levels. Oh, shoot, Maya actually had not thought of what to say. "Ah, I was merely wishing to give you and your friends a welcome and good luck to the upcoming year." She replied with a stern face, no smile while her tundra-like eyes peered back onto the young girl. What was that? Is Maya suddenly a teacher now? That was far too formal. "O-oh, t-thanks. Y-you too..." She replied with her voice quivering as if she was about to cry. Maya coughed lightly and nodded while forcing out a smile, then she took her leave towards the hall. Entering through the doors, she lazily looked about the grandeuse architechture she had grown familiar to over the years, prying her eyes as if looking for some recognized faces. Well, she saw two only, one of the teachers she'd heard stories about and the strange redhead that always loitered with the juniors and seniors around these days. She lightly shook her head, that girl was infamous for her desire to tease others, and Maya made a mental note to avoid her. Just like last year. Instead she began walking down to find a vacant seat, hopefully with seats vacant around it too, so that she could enjoy some peace of mind. Since that was clearly all she could hope to attain anyways. And luckily, she entered early so that was indeed the case, down by the 4th row she found what she wanted.
