"You know Jaycen, the Phy Ed teacher?"

"The NFL player, yeah. What about him?"

"Apparently he and Hayden had a fling."

"Whoa, really?"

"Mmhmm"

"That's... Okay then?"

"You're boring, why can't you give me a better reaction?"

"Why would you get a different reaction?"

"Because... Ugh, never mind. You're no fun!"

Brenden is still sorting through what he thinks about Hayden, so jealousy wouldn't be the primary emotion he feels. It'd be more of a "what?"-ish shock, but kinda indifferent thing happening. Somewhere deep inside though, it'll bug him, because he can't deny that attraction.
