She hadn't meant to stand as if she was scared there would be a fight - in fight, she just didn't feel fear. She had been a fairly fearless person before her death, but this seemed different. Perhaps a blessing given to her after her revival? Surely it wasn't hard to imagine she would have a few more blessings than she did in her previous life. However, she truly wondered if the old creature understood what he was saying. After all, Excalibur was a force to be reckoned with, even if it wasn't specified towards dragonkind. Regardless, she was keen on letting the dragon leave, especially since she could sense the unease of the men around her. Surprised they hadn't been more uneasy though - perhaps some effect she had with her new blessing. "Do not worry, ser - I'll protect her with my life," she reassured the giant dragon, to which he only gave a slight snort. "He seemed unique, even among the dragons," she replied with a soft smile. 'Gods, I've missed her,' she silently thought to herself before nodding and gesturing to the queen they were done, though she did not mean to command royalty. Meliadoul walked over, not seeming offended by the gesture and looked to the sky for a moment. "Well.. it is pleasant that he's on our side. Vis knows we need as much help as we can muster." Her eyes found the pair once more and nodded. "It'll take until the morning to get a pair of horses ready for travel. While airship might faster, it's loaned to the front lines, so it's the best we can offer." She sounded a little apologetic. "One of the guards will escort you to your room - you'll probably see Odessa, my knight commander, who's prepared it for you both. Unless you need more of me, I need to direct orders to the front lines. Unless you have any questions?" ".. actually," Morgan started, "what are these creatures that plague the land? You.. said alien?" While she had plans on how to reach the trade city in her head, she hadn't a clue what the danger was exactly. It was not oft that people used the term alien. That implied no one could explain where they were from. Even the fey, from Avalon, were never referred to as such despite being on a different plane of existence. "Aye," she replied, letting out a sigh and a shrug. "They are abominations of the strangest order. The closest thing they resemble are demons, but even then.. they are somehow colder and strange than even those evil monsters. As far as we know, they simply showed up twenty years ago - from Eagrose to the east - and corrupted the land into a frozen dark wasteland. They are as fast as the most agile desertman and strong as the northernmen. Perhaps even more so. We lose ground each day, though it is slow. They seem nearly endless." The queen frowned slightly and shook her head. "Thankfully heroes of our own time.. have held well enough.. I only pray you and the others can tip the scale." With that, she gave a sad nod and glanced to Nimue. "M'lady? Do you have anything to ask before I go back to my duties?"
