Captain Morningstar sent Commander Masters to find out what was going on.

She went to Odo's office. "Why did you call for Morningstar?" She was escorted to the brig where she saw the guests behind bars. "What laws did they break?" They reviewed the security footage. They clearly were defending themselves from those brutes, and they clearly could have outright killed them with their bare hands but went out of their way to do non lethal damage and damage that is a lot less than what they are capable of." Odo called Sisko for his opinion on letting them go and reluctantly agreed when told to. He then made not so veiled threat about keeping an eye on them. Masters escorted them back to the ship. "Make yourselves useful and train on the holodeck with the weapons you will have access to." She then returned to Sisko's office.
