[@Leaves] I'll do you one better and give you until next morning, since that's when I planned to do my next round of judging. [@Geyter] Sounds good either way. If you hurry you can compete, but a viewer is just as good. :)
[@ProPro] Well I mean, Chopper is an animal and he's a doctor. Plus there were all those arena contestants who were presumably part of pirate crews and had proper jobs as well. Big Mom has a magical talking rabbit man on her crew who explicitly isn't a Mink, as well.
Chopper ate the human human fruit. The rabbit had some of a human soul put in it by Big Mom. Both are extreme exceptions with zero correlation to Horse. As you've designed him, he's a beast of burden no more intelligent than other animal companions shown in One Piece. He has far more in common with Shelly or Chouchou than Chopper or that rabbit. I also have no idea what arena contestants you're talking about. The only time I remember an animal fighting in an arena was the Corrida Colosseum tournament for the flare flare fruit, which had the fighting fish and the bull, both of which were natural obstacles for the combatants to deal with. If you have something else you can remember, please cite the specifics and I'll gladly consider the statement.
That being said, could you go ahead and give me a list of these "necessities" that need to be filled? I mean, from what I've gathered, we're neither sticking to One Piece crew roles nor are we going with actually important real life crew roles. Since I have no idea what you want, I think this would go smoother if you just let me know straight up so I can accommodate you.
We do want One Piece crew roles. You previously asked me if we were straight up copying the Straw Hat crew, which is a profoundly different question. After all, a pirate ship does not usually require an archaologist nor a singer. Now to accommodate your request, the positions that are necessary to survive a long voyage are: navigator, doctor, cook, shipwright, and a gunner/sniper/sharpshooter to ensure those ship encounters don't end poorly. Anything after that is not necessary but adds additional flavor to the ship.

Moving on, I don't see why I need to have an arbitrary amount of posts to join a game. I'm primarily a lurker, and I can tell you firsthand that plenty of this site's major flakes have massive post counts, since all they do is chatter in the OOC and then leave.
I'm not looking at strictly post count though. It's the ratio of post to time on site, and many of your posts are from 3 months ago. You have to see how this is very concerning. Further, you not addressing this concern of mine before only raised more flags, as it came across as flippant and ignoring what I feel to be a very real potential problem. Yes many of the most flighty members have massive post counts. Believe me, I keep tabs on them, but it isn't about post count alone. It's post count compared to time on the site. Are there exceptions? Yes. That's why I asked you to let me know that you would be one of those exceptions and have the dedication I'm looking for, instead of first ignoring my request then dismissing it as unimportant.
Frankly, it feels a bit like you're reaching for reasons to reject me. I won't speculate as to why, but I would like to point out that putting me on hold like this is a violation of your own "no reservations" policy.
If I were reaching for reasons to deny you, you'd know. I would straight up tell you, "No, I don't like it/you, you cannot play" and that'd be the end of it. Instead I have told you that despite this character not being what I had in mind for this particular game, and therefore something I am completely within my right to outright dismiss, that I like the concept and character so much that I am breaking my reservation policy for this character, as long as all of the major positions are first filled. The ship cannot survive without a doctor. The ship cannot survive without a navigator. It can survive perfectly fine without a pet/mascot. So I compromised and declared that as long as a spot was open once those were filled, this was guaranteed. This is my bottom line. My original offer stands (and is more likely than not going to work to your benefit). Horse has a spot, provided the next two characters I approve are Spiffy's (navigator and shoot combo), and one of the two competing for a doctor. My original request that you can promise me you will actively participate, both IC and OOC, still holds. I am fine with your statement that you're primarily a lurker. That does not have a negative impact on my decision. I saw a potential problem, and am very direct in confronting, and solving, it.
