Clyde Fisher
[@Rune_Alchemist]
Clyde had just taken several bites of the bar in his hand, when the charger that was in his other was gently removed from his hand. A few words of gratitude escaped the woman's mouth, before she immediately began to charge her own phone. "Ugh, I don't know what they drugged us with but it was definitely not the fun stuff." She then chuckled, before drinking from one of the 5 water bottles resting at Clyde's side, half of the liquid disappearing as she continued to chug. Clyde nodded in response, all to aware of the feeling - He hated those kinds of drugs. The feeling of weightlessness, the lightheadedness, all combined with the slow dulling of thoughts and consciousness. It made him feel as if he was getting euthanized, that he would never wake up again. It was the reason he always wanted the shots of pain medication rather than getting gas. Halsey's gaze seemed to narrow slightly and, following it, Clyde saw what she was glaring at - The boy from earlier was talking to the couple, but Clyde chose not to focus in on what they were saying. It would be rude if he did. Whatever it was they were talking about, Lukas kept the same cocky attitude as before. Halsey muttered something under her breath, but Clyde wasn't paying close enough attention to catch what she said. Instead, he chose to understand his situation - he was currently hundreds of feet underwater, in a train going at an undetermined speed, but presumably extremely fast, inside of a glass tube. Inside of the train, in the glass tube at the bottom of the sea, there were dozens of children who possessed supernatural capabilities, some of whom were even armed. That helped him focus off of the fact that he was talking to a girl, a prospect that may be even more terrifying. "You uh, alright there bud? Breathing is usually beneficial to you know, uh living, so maybe try doing a bit more of that and a bit less of whatever this is." The calm words seemed to shake him back to reality - He was staring off into space while looking at the showoff and couple, and his breathing was quick and quiet, almost hyperventilating. He did this often when he was deep in thought, and it always embarrassed him when someone pointed it out. Blushing, he turned his head away in embarrassment and calmed his breathing down to his usual, deep breaths. "The Name's Halsey. Got a name yourself? Or do you just go by the lord of horrible tasting protein bars?" The blush immediately vanished as Clyde realized what was occurring - was he... making a friend? Yes! Internally, Clyde was overjoyed to finally have made his first friend and, as calmly and naturally as he could, he turned to face her as he introduced himself. "Oh, uh, my name is Clyde. Wait, how did you know these protein bars sucked-" Clyde jumped slightly as the announcement sounded throughout the train car, cutting him off. The woman on the announcement proceeded to explain their situations, and what they would be doing upon making it to the academy itself. The fact that they were nearly there already was very surprising, as Clyde had only been awake for a few minutes. Breakfast sounded fantastic considering he had only eaten his protein bars, but his hunger was overpowered by fear. What did they mean by evaluation? Sure, she said that it was to test their abilities, but would it effect their grades? Would they be kicked out of the academy if they performed badly? Questions flew around Clyde's mind for the rest of the train ride, seconds ticking away slowly on his phone's clock.
