Kaleo! It's time to wake up, please come here once you're ready!" The sound of a rather sheepish female voice rang throughout the small house and into said boy's even smaller room. Teal blue eyes fluttered open as he was met with the blinding rays of Alola shining unfiltered through his 'room'. It didn't really help that his bed was right under the large bay window; he probably fell asleep before he could close the curtains... Kaleo lazily pulled himself up so that he was sitting right in front of the window, squinting as he looked outside. While distracted by the sight that never seized to get old, Kaleo failed to pick up on the pink pokemon landing on his already messy hair before she actually made contact. This caused the boy to let out a breathy scream, one that barely audible to even the boy himself, as he pulled the Cleffa off his head and held the creature in his arms. The two stared at each other for a brief moment before Kaleo quickly scurried out of his bead and ran for the bathroom, Hoshi chiming out happily in the process. It had only taking about ten minutes for Kaleo to freshen up and put on his normal clothes, and he was now making his way over to the kitchen, which was a simple straight shot from his room. Hoshi, who was now back on Kaleo's head, continued to let out audible chimes until the owner of the voice from before came into view. "Ah, there you are! How did you two sleep?" The old woman smiled as she looked down at the two in question. Kaleo answered with a small nod for the both of them before looking around. Empty. No one else was here. He wasn't here... Slowly, Kaleo brought his hands up to his chest and began to move them. "Where's Tu-Tu?" His hands questioned with a slight tilt of his head. "Oh that's right, we didn't tell you!" His grandmother began, smoothing back her gray hair placed in a neat bun. "He's gone out to do some fishing. He'll be back in the evening. Don't worry." She smiled before turning around and walking deeper into the kitchen, Kaleo following quietly. His eyes soon landed on a boxed lunch that was wrapped in a neat blue cloth in his grandmother's hands. The boy could only furrow his brows at the sight. Usually when she made a boxed lunch, that meant... "Now dear, if you could ever be so kind as to head to Hau'oli City and grab a few malasadas for home? I also want you to go and deliver one to Professor Ironwood and Pike if you see them. I heard that there would be someone coming to live in Mele-Mele as well so be a good boy and give some to her and her family, alright?" Kaleo's lips pursed into a thin line. Why have him of all people do it? It wasn't like he was that close with the professor and his assistant to deliver food to them. And someone new? Why didn't anyone tell him these things? But it wasn't like he could say so, so the boy just took the money and his lunch and headed for the door. Thankfully it was still pretty early in the morning, so it wasn't too hot and not as many people were out, Kaleo thought as he shoved the money into his pocket and pulled Hoshi off of his head once they reached Hau-oli City. The Malasada Shop wasn't too far away from where he currently was, so it was all a matter of walking...past a bunch of people...who definitely want to say something to him...great. Kaleo gulped before clutching onto Hoshi, who also looked like she was preparing herself. The two gave each other a look before hurrying to the Malasada shop.
