Camilla

Just any other name people think to call her.

General description

Race
Human(?)
Age
Looks to be around her teens, or even younger, but had lived for a century.
Size
156cm, weighting in at about 80kg, defying her slender look.
Gender
Female
Sexuality
Everything is fair game to her.
Religion
Doesn't actively worship any real deity, though she believes in some of them.
Job
Mostly works as an engineer. Otherwise gets ushered into a field medic role.
Personality

Despite her looks, she wasn't actively antagonistic nor actually interested in actively doing evil. Cheerful most of the time, with a playful side, she was more interested in furthering her research and her technology. Her alliance with Lancelot was then one of convenience. Her expertise and machines in exchange for his protection. She did not understand why people was so upset when she used dead corpses in her experiments and crafts; they certainly had no more use for their bodies anymore, might as well turn it into something useful. Even her most macabre of constructs had small finishing touches on them to make them look 'cuter' in her eyes; small bones arranged in pleasing patterns, smoothed out flesh dyed in flashy colors, or perhaps even a bow here and there, flesh or otherwise.

Biography

Carmilla started out as a simply clockwork machinist's daughter and apprentice, before moving on to dabble in steamworks as well. Adept at building small machines and other clockwork devices, she took over her father's shop when he died, continuing to sell clocks and those tiny trinkets like a musical box and the likes. One day, after fixing a steam powered engine's valve, the customer mistakenly shut off the excess valve, and blew himself up in her shop. While she miraculously survived the incident with little injury, she had stayed unmoving at the scene, eyes wide and mouth agape. Carmilla stayed that way for a few days, as her shop closed for that time. The townsfolk that knew her assumed she was under shock from that horrific accident, and rightfully so. But with that shock, came a morbid curiosity and interest. Soon, she started hauling the recently dead into her house, cutting them apart and putting them back together, trying to figure out what made them tick; if she can make them tick. She wasn't some master thief, nor someone who melds into shadow effortlessly, and thus her work was soon discovered, leading her to flee the area. But her work continued, in the wilderness where she lived and made her home. Dragging off countless numbers of the freshly dead to experiment on, she soon developed an ability of her own, one she was quick to take advantage of. Hearing of Lancelot's deed, she travelled there to see if she could gain protection, in exchange for what she had learned.

Mindful of her appearance, she wears mostly clothes with darker colors and flashy accents, manipulating dead material into the color and shape she needed. Most of her clothes were sculpted from flesh. Even the hardened plates were made of carefully sculpted flesh. Has a sort of an ethereal quality to her beauty.

Traits and Equipment

Flesh Meld
An ability gained after much experimentation with dead flesh, she had found herself able to mold, sculpt and alter any sort of flesh into anything she wants, even changing it's properties if she need to. The more obvious application of this was healing, as she could simply make the wounds disappear, reattach amputated limbs or in the case with heavy flesh loss, she could scoop up fleshy material from any source and paste it onto the patient. Of course, since she could just as readily stick a fully functional third arm onto people or make their skill hard and scaly, it was not often that people went to her looking for healing.

Flesh reanimation
More of a subset of the ability above than a separate skill, this allows her to bring flesh to life. It does not bring a person or an entity back to life, merely their flesh. She could have a heart beating on her desk for days until it rots or she tired of it and threw it into some other project, make a living breathing furniture etc. The only limitation to this was that everything she reanimated was mindless, though she can exert her will upon it if she wished. Carmilla could use it to construct flesh golems, but the process was tedious, making fielding any significant number of them impractical.

Sculpted Body
Of course, having the ability to mold and sculpt flesh, she inevitable turned it onto herself, sculpting herself to her idea image, as well as improving her body in the process. Concentrating muscle allowed her to be stronger than she looks, just about as strong as a larger muscular man. Rearranging and remaking organs allowed her to live even if her heart was pierced, or if her head was cut off, as well as allowing her head to control her body even when it was decapitated. Of course, she can't do anything much with her head, save for reinforcing her skull as much as she could. Her eyes were simply the byproduct of trying to compensate for the long hours of working under candlelight, leading to her altering her own eyes to see better in low light conditions.

Master Craftman(Clockworks, Steam, and Flesh)
Having lived as a clockmaker and machinist before, she was, to no surprise of anyone, a good machinist and mechanic. Camilla as relatively decent at woodworking as well, due to having to make shells to house the intricate clocks she made.

Amazing Cook(Meat)
When it comes to meat, her ability to cook them comes second to none. Perhaps it was her understanding of them from all her work with them.

Fancyful
She may or may not add extraneous things to anything she works on, like that machine she was to fix, or that patient she was supposed to heal.

Still Flesh
Even with her body's improved durability and hardiness, if her head was crushed she would still die.

Greenhorn
While she can fight when she needs to, she was hardly a seasoned fighter.

Limited Automatons
Should she ever decide to work on automatons, fleshy or metal, she could only ever maintain about ten of them.

Lethargic
There wasn't much need for much exertion in her life, thus she tires out easily when doing something strenuous.

Weighted Body
Due to her disproportionate weight, she cannot run as fast as anyone of equivalent size could.

Unnatural Construct
With her body made the way it was, she was naturally considered unnatural, and thus would be liable to die quickly should a holy person decide to turn their holy magic upon her.

Item Reliance
Without proper equipments, she's just a small girl with a very resilient body.

Toolbox
Or more accurately, a whole wagon of them. Tools for her trade, both steamworks and clockworks.

Wardrobe
A lot of flashy clothes, all handmade.

Universal Hammer

A small nondescript hammer, with the ability to restore magic on any artificial object that had lost its magic, as well as being able to fix all sorts of machinery. A cheat item she uses to quickly repair machines she has no interest in actually examining.

Relationships
-
Other

Iron Sword

Iron, and some very choice, less polite names by those who dislike him

General description

Race
Human
Age
Around 30
Size
189cm, weighting in about 100kg
Gender
Male
Sexuality
Heterosexual
Religion
Christianity, or the amalgamation of what it is during the Arthurian period.
Job
Gatekeeper during the night.
Personality

Quiet, affable, and quite well spoken, oddly so for a man so poor with only an iron sword to his name. His manner hinted at being high born, and his demeanour supported it, though he looked every bit the poor commoner. Had he not been working as a servant to the knights of evil, one might even mistake him for some sort of virtuous crusader, for such was his usual manner, calmly optimistic, and apologetic for everything he had to perform while working for them. Of course, one can also see that as a facade he wore, while taking money for everything he did working under them.

Biography

He came out of nowhere, unknown to anyone, with no name and no history. When asked, he simply laughed and said he had no more name, mentioning that he wasn't worthy of his name anymore, asking simply to be called Iron Sword, for the only thing of real value he carried with him. With bravery one might associate with the foolish, he simply strode up and asked to be one of Lancelot's knight. While he was ridiculed initially due to his shabby appearance, his skill was undeniable. The guards sent to make him leave, was instead defeated readily, without his sword even leaving his scabbard.

A simple man, with silver hair and beard, combining with his countenance to seem older than he really is. He wears practical clothings, one that many would associate with a travelling person. A thick hooded clock, light breathable shirt, and tough trousers, all of which was something he had grown to prefer due to his wandering days.

Traits and Equipment

Armed Mastery
He has unusual skill in many types of common arms, enough so that his skill does not diminish under duress, or even to the point of being able to use common objects as weapons.

Skilled Equestrian
Without a doubt, any one who sees him ride a horse would describe him as being one with the horse, for such control and finesse did he usually show.

Honed Body
His body seemed very well trained, with finesse and dexterity one would not usually associate with such a large man, and with the strength that one might expect from one.

Well Educated
While he rarely ever shows it, he has the capability to read and write, as well as having read books before.

Sharp Eye
A discerning eye to pick out irregularity or the likes. Less the product of an extremely sharp mind like a famous detective, but more an instinctive impulse.

Armament maintenance
More of a personal skill, he can maintain equipment to some degree, as well as being able to eyeball how long an equipment will last, their quality, and the likes. Not guaranteed to be accurate, but relatively reliable most of the time.

Human
He was, without a doubt, human. An arrow through his heart would stop him as surely as cutting off his head would.

Magically Inept
Magic was something he did not understand, and therefore keeps a respectable distance from. It is highly unlikely that he would ever gain some magical abilities or skill by himself.

Action before reason
Has a tendency to act first in certain situations, especially one that he feels challenges his ideal, or himself.

Usual Attire
He has only the shabby clothes and pieces of armor for now.

Unnamed Iron Sword, with a charm etched onto the pommel

An old iron sword, showing its age, pitted here and there, but still perfectly serviceable. It was unusually heavy, and kept sharp by Iron, but beyond that, it looked like an ordinary sword. The charm etched onto the pommel simply forces everything the sword touches to obey the natural law of the world and reject all else. While it didn't do much other than that, the enchantment was extremely efficient due to its simplicity and singular purpose.
