I would've suggested making it whoever got the second place in terms of likes, but that just reduces it to a tie between Lily and Dirk... which is a bit more convenient than whoever gets randomly selected, I suppose. Alternatively, we can ask [@Spiffy] who Cedric would make the first mate in-character, if that's an acceptable solution?
