Name: Itzel Astek (Pron: IT-zil Ah-ss-tech) Age: 19 Nationality: Aztec

Height: 5'9 Weight: 64kg Weapon(s): Two large karambit knives hidden within the sleeves of her shirt; several throwing knives (x8) and darts (x32) at her belt; one-handed sword at her hip; smoke grenades (x5) at belt; a tri-barrel matchlock pistol and a german flintlock revolver (bullets x24) all at hip; tepoztopilli lance on back; maguey plant sling (sharpened rocks x40) on lower back; metal box of spikes (contains x16 spikes) on back; paralysis dart (x3) one on her chest, one her back and the last one the clip in her hair; prototype blunderbuss (x5 shots); one-handed Maquahuitl at opposite hip to sword; Flint and steel; glass oil vials (x2). Fighting Style: Itzel's fighting style is basically to avoid direct confrontation. With all her weapons at her disposal, Itzel knows just what to use in just about any situation. However, if you get right down to it, she's basically an acrobatic ninja, give or take some weapons that would say otherwise. She's adept at a variety of fighting styles that suit her various weapons, though in the end she's only really strong when she combines styles together to make something neither here nor there, but something else entirely. To put it simply, she's like a jack of all trades, who then combines those trades to become a king (or in this case queen) who benefits from both. Searching For: Soul Edge. Why? To destroy the damn thing, of course! Or at the very least seal it away. Personality: Itzel is... strange. Outside of combat, she's seen as rather expressionless and kind, foregoing the appearance of a shy young maiden. However, when in battle, she becomes the total opposite: cocky, arrogant and full of herself, it's hard to tell why Itzel chooses to be so spasmodic. In both states, Itzel will take to random acts of just about anything, acting shy when in her quiet state upon exposure and embracing the weirdness when in her... confused state. She's not that bad of a person, though. Oddly, she has a weird hatred of people who consider themselves "normal". Background:
Itzel has never really known for herself what life was like with her fellow Aztecs. As a member of a discreet group known for their incredibly rare and unique coloured hair, it didn't take long after the people were found by the Spanish to be disposed of (such as her parents) or captured. Itzel was one of the unlucky ones. She was captured. Her red hair which turned yellow at the tips was something that could fetch her "owner" a wealth of riches on the market. It didn't take her long at all before she was sold off to another foreigner, a British man, and transported to a faraway place she at first couldn't identify. However, this place later became what Itzel would know as "home". His name was William Willick, an inventor and something of a genius who had to use every last penny to afford poor little Itzel. Of course, him being a genius he knew he could quite easily make the funds again by inventing something unique and useful, and continued to do just that, keeping little Itzel indoors most of the time and having her help around the house, disguised as a simple slave girl. However, Willick had much bigger plans for the young girl... Plans which could potentially change the world...

One morning, or rather night, for Itzel was unable to tell, Willick woke her up and told her that he had a surprise for her. Curious, the young servant girl followed behind the genius without complaint. Over the past few years, Willick had been secretly tutoring Itzel on all manners of things: be it how to be proper and polite (namely during the day as a servant) to their nightly study sessions on various languages, mathematics, science, or a simple history lesson. Willick had revealed many things to Itzel about himself. She already knew he was an inventor for the military, with knowledge on weapons that well surpassed those of the present day and age. She was fascinated whenever he spoke of his questing for inspiration or when he spent a few years in military service; it was something that compelled her to like this strange and rather eccentric man. She never would've known such things as guns existed if she hadn't been captured! Not that it was necessarily a good thing... The man towed the young girl to his basement, something most people found find somewhat conspicuous, though Itzel saw no real harm in it. Further down, Itzel was brought before a book case with a lone book sitting on the top shelf. Standing on his toes (for he was not a tall man), her master William tugged at the book and the bookcase swung aside, revealing a hidden room filled to the brim with various prototype, one-of-a-kind weapons, weapons of various other nations, and a few rather confusing gadgets. Itzel was completely taken aback by this revelation. She had never thought her master had created this many inventions in his spare time! "Pick one." He spoke with a grin. "I'm going to teach you everything you'll need to know to become so strong, no man nor woman will be able to face you." Surprised to hear him say such a thing, Itzel requested to know why. "It's your birthday in three seconds." He said simply before shouting: "Happy birthday!" Willick then went into detail about why he really wanted to train Itzel in the use of a weapon, better yet multiple: Soul Edge. A sword which had stolen everything from him, Willick wanted nothing more than to see the sword not just shattered, but completely obliterated until it was no longer operable and beyond all repair. Though he wouldn't go into detail until he was on his death bed some 8 years later, Willick spoke of how the sword was the reason behind all devastating evil. It was the reason for everything, namely the Spanish invading her peoples camp and slaughtering all but the children. And so, Itzel agreed. But she didn't want to learn just about one weapon... ... She wanted to learn all of them!
