3(ish?) hours after Behir... There was a dead silence at the cafe table. Alto sitting across from Melissa, brows furrowed in thought. "...I feel like that could've been better." Alto said, breaking the silence. "I know right?!" Melissa retorted, slamming her hands down on the table. She flinched at her own sudden outburst. She took a quick look to check that people weren't staring, but she didn't seem too apologetic anyway. They had just finished watching Ghost in the Shell. Alto hadn't known all that much. Melissa apparently knew the source material fairly well. For an outsider like himself, all that he could say was that the visual effects were stunning, but there wasn't all that much else to the movie. The way Melissa was taking it, she seemed to be treating it like it was... not the angriest he'd ever seen something, but it was certainly up there. "It's such a waste to have such a good baseline to build on and then, they... made it! Like that! Why?!" She said motioning furiously. Oh actually, he'd forgotten until now but Melissa had dressed up for the occasion. A light, airy dress with simple accessories, which worked well. He didn't know how to judge fashion, obviously. He wore the same outfit every single day but he didn't really feel self-conscious about it. Melissa was fuming she still looked like she was glowing next to Alto. He smiled at the comedy of it all. Melissa took a moment to calm down. "...Sorry..." She said finally. "I didn't know you were that passionate," Alto said with a lighthearted laugh. "I could stay and listen to you all day if you wanted me to." She blushed a deep red at that, and Alto realized the way he'd phrased that last sentence. He didn't mind the reaction, but he sort of knew somewhere he didn't feel the same way people said you were supposed to feel when you said something like that. The only reaction he had to her blushing was the compulsion to pat her on the head which felt like a weird thing to do. "You want to go out again sometime?" He asked. "U-Umm... yeah! Sure!" She stammered. Maybe he'd be able to say it next time.
