Estelle Varianbec, Master of Rider
Estelle frowned, her eyes narrowing. "Of course not," the tiny girl said with a huff. She still didn't understand what Johanna Faust was attempting to do by saying such things. They were obviously lies. They had to be. Perhaps she was attempting to get her to drop out of the War? As if that would work. Estelle would never, ever give up. "My family didn't place me here simply to die. I was born to uphold their memory. Even if they're all gone... I won't fail. In fact, because they're all gone it's more important that I don't." The white-haired girl nodded firmly to herself as she spoke. Her resolve, even after her moment of panic, had only become strengthened by explaining to her Servant why it was so important she kept fighting. A family she never got to meet had left her so much so she could complete her task. Her catalyst... everything. Failing would be failing the memory of the ones who were the reason for her existence. As such, Estelle wouldn't surrender. She couldn't back down. This wouldn't be a world where Estelle Varianbec failed her family. It would be one where she succeeded, no matter what. "Whatever she was trying to do, it won't work!" [@Blackstripe]
