[@IceHeart]So basically, you're telling me that I need to be my own GM and to basically write my own game within your game? If that's the case, then just for me and only concerning how IRL is for me, this won't work. I am in a different timezone than most of the people here. When most of you are asleep, I'm awake and working and I wouldn't want people waiting for me to post when you guys post about 5 times per day. I already GM two big games, and so being in a game where I am basically writing whatever happens for the sake of my own amusement. No; not going to work. I join RPs to experience the GM's idea, storyline and plans not to write my own fanfiction. So I'll make your life a smidge easier and drop out. It will give you less people to worry about.
Maybe I'm missing something, but [@IceHeart] offered to create side plots as needed for those who want more of the GM's influence in their character's individual story. Additionally, it seems he is leaving open the opportunity for people to make their own stories that can occur in parallel to larger story arcs he is planning. From what I gathered, you're not being forced to write your own story, unless you want to.

Also if you need some kind of event to happen in your area when you feel like you need something to spice up your roleplay I can happily add some kind of plot point to help you along.

I can't say I share you're concerns or see how they are entirely justified beyond a faster posting rate for this group than you were expecting (which I've also had problems with in that past). On a related note: There's always a variance in how much individual players want to lead the narrative or be lead by the narrative, and it may take some additional effort to strike a balance, but its not out of the question. Like [@Lugubrious], if it would ease the burden, I could help write new content for ongoing plots as well. I have a notebook full of plot ideas and adventures at home I could put to use.
