Alexander Shields
Alexander didn't trust this girl at all. Sure, she said that she was sorry about what her sister said, but if that was really the case, then she would have spoken up sooner (which she didn't, by the sound of things). To him, this screamed Good Cop, Bad Cop. And to top it all off; they somehow knew about what happened at the hospital. That on it's own wouldn't be that big a deal, but with the implication that they were trying to play her...it suddenly meant a lot more. The question was; what was their game? What were they after? Right now, this girl was asking if Lily meant what she said before they left. What would happen if Lily said yes? His mind was filled with possibilities and what if's. Then Lily held his arm tighter, and all of that vanished. Right now, only one thing mattered; getting Lily to safety. Trying to figure out what their game was could come later. Taking a deep breath, he spoke "just try to forget whatever she said. Come on Lily, we're leaving" he started walking away with Lily still clinging to her. He wouldn't let her get caught in whatever trap those two were laying.
