Just as a clarification, I am aware that the date is wrong on the War Correspondent's piece for the landing at Normandy. That is because it was not written on the actual day that they landed but rather the next day, likely after editing notes and scribbles he had made while watching and likely even helping in the actual process of unloading everything from the ships, as War Correspondents were seldom known to just sit back and do nothing when they could lend a hand.

Most of his posts will be labeled as a few days after the actual events took place, so don't be alarmed by that.
