It felt so bad... she had kept away from people because she was shy and because she knew that separation would hurt. She didn't want to lose close friends or even loved ones, since she knew how easy it was that to happen in this world, but this place had sneaked around her caution and she made friends without even minding it. Now this happened. She felt herself in Riley's arms as the other pulled her into a hug. The tears didn't stop though. She didn't even realize when Meg walked over. Amelia had hard time focusing on things since she couldn't stop her tears still, her sadness was overpowering her desire to hide away somewhere as Riley's presence was one of the few things still making her mostly keep alright. She feared if she was alone she'd just crumble in a corner right now. Well then Ash started barking out the new order of things and everything completely turned into a mess in her head. Her crying slowed and she stopped shedding tears, just letting the occasional sob, still in Riley's hands as she was trying to sort her thoughts out and prevent from bursting in tears again. What Ashton was saying was important, but she was barely able to hear any. Still she did get that Thana was the new agri lead, Froggy was relieved as Second and replaced with Jack. So far so good. It was lucky though that Thana had arrived in good terms and things were very fair about everything, because right now in Amelia's mind she could see how this could have devolved into a book story plot... Even the mere thought of it, made her glad that was not actually the case. “Could I help as well?” Amelia finally said quietly to Meg who was requesting Chloe's aid.” I need to work... do something... I need to be busy.” She wanted to put her mind into something. Just focus on a task for the moment, keep thought process away from the reality even only for the daytime.
