Name: Jeremy Eckelson Age: 19 Sex: Male Appearance: Jeremy does not appear as the stereotypical young prodigies or career duelists that one would expect to see at the grand opening of Kaiba World. On the contrary, he seems as if he was picked up right off the street to play. He sits at a height slightly taller than most around his age at an even six feet, and has the thin build of a long distance runner. His dark brown hair is neatly trimmed and combed to the right, slightly spiked upwards in the front. He possesses a very expressive face, often wearing his emotions on them clear as day. Jeremy's choice of fashion steer towards comfortable casual attire, with a peculiar affinity towards Hawaiian shirts. Depending on the weather outside, however, Jeremy will opt for a long sleeved shirt, often those with darker hues. Cargo shorts and standard jeans are also swapped accordingly. Duel Disk: A basic model academy Ra Yellow Disk that Jeremy picked up for cheap. A decal of a five pointed star is stuck to the orb that separates the Monster Zones. Duel Runner: Because of Jeremy's dislike of the format, he decided to buy a cheap motorized scooter model Duel Runner specifically for the event. It barely runs, but it'll get the job done. Ace Monster: Ultimate Conductor Tyranno Deck Master/Ability: To be included Speed Duel Skill: Smash Under Foot: If a level 4 or higher Dinosaur-type monster you control would attack an opponents monster in face-down Defense position monster, immediately destroy it before damage calculation. This ability can only be activated once per Battle Phase.
Jeremy is most of the time in a distracted daze, fixing his attention to small details about objects or people for minutes at a time. And, at a place like Kaiba World, he would probably be seen wandering around the facilities, inspecting hallways, staring at the sky while sitting poolside, or watching birds hop around empty picnic tables looking for scraps. Jeremy also carries a portable gaming device that he sometimes decided to play. Jeremy tends to be laid back during interactions with others. He loves small talk, often approaching and initiating conversations with strangers when not observing something abstract. He tends to talk slowly and unsystematically, often voicing the first thoughts that would come to mind. Games like Duel Monsters have always fascinated Jeremy, as there was a lot to experience with so many cards to look through. However, Duel Monsters is not his main fascination, and Jeremy would much rather play video games instead. He especially loves games in the fighting genre, and dreams of being a pro gamer, despite the market being rather small at the moment. Because of the lack of opportunity, Jeremy has had more chances to place in Duel Monster tournaments, and because of a natural talent, was invited to the opening of Kaiba World.

Growing up, Jeremy was the youngest of his siblings and had a lot of free time. His parents both worked, and while the family lived comfortably, he was mostly left to pester his older siblings, having little time to interact with parental figures. One such sibling was a fan of Duel Monsters, which first sparked Jeremy's interest in the game. He would often try and steal cards from his brother, but his attempts were mostly thwarted, as he always attempted his thefts when his brother was mere feet away. Eventually, his brother would give his brother a deck in the form of a pile of random common cards dumped on top of him one morning, and the two of them would spend time playing together when they felt they wanted to. As Jeremy grew up, he soon lost interest in the card game and shifted his focus to video games instead. It was at this time he found his love for fighting games, and would spend hours of the day practicing his combos and competing in various online ladders for many different games. As he grew older and more active in the small fighting game community, he found that many players also had a love for Duel Monsters, a game which he hadn't heard of in years. He would occasionally talk to his friends about the game, and would often offer a new outlook on different strategies they had. His friends, curious, asked if he played, to which Jeremy replied, "not anymore." Then, during conversations afterward, Jeremy would always be asked when he would buy cards for a deck. After all, the advice that he offered despite not playing in several years showed promise in the young duelist. It was at this point that Jeremy decided to get back in to the card game as a side hobby, while still putting many hours in to video games. After some digging online, Jeremy was able to quickly put together an aggressive, oppressive deck, one that matched his playing style, and soon dominated his friend group with it. Soon after, Jeremy was climbing the ranks of his local game store, and managed to snag a regional win out of nowhere. Because of this sudden climb in rating, the Duel Monsters community started to take notice of him as an up and coming talent. Soon after his rise to fame, in an event that Jeremy mostly contributed to luck, he received an invite to the opening of Kaiba World. While at first speculative, Jeremy decided after many pushes from online friends to go, despite missing a few local video game tournaments. He now hopes that the trip will be worth it.

Normal Monsters (2) 2x Megalosmasher X Effect Monsters (18) 3x Babycerasaurus 1x Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju 3x Miscellaneousaurus 2x Petiteranodon 1x Rescue Rabbit 3x Souleating Oviraptor 2x Tyranno Infinity 3x Ultimate Conductor Tyranno Spells (15) 1x Foolish Burial 3x Fossil Dig 3x Lost World 3x Swords of Concealing Light 3x Terraforming 3x Twin Twisters Traps (5) 1x Fossil Excavation 1x Torrential Tribute 3x Quaking Mirror Force Extra Deck (15) 1x Abyss Dweller 2x Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer 1x Daigusto Emeral 2x Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon 2x Diamond Dire Wolf 2x Evolzar Dolkka 2x Evolzar Laggia 1x Gagaga Cowboy 1x Steelswarm Roach 1x Super Dreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max

Normal Monsters (2) 2x Megalosmasher X Effect Monsters (18) 3x Babycerasaurus 1x Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju 3x Miscellaneousaurus 2x Petiteranodon 1x Rescue Rabbit 3x Souleating Oviraptor 2x Tyranno Infinity 3x Ultimate Conductor Tyranno Spells (15) 1x Speed Spell - Foolish Burial 3x Speed Spell - Summoner's Art 3x Speed Spell - Smashing Ground 3x Speed Spell - Book of Moon 3x Speed Spell - Mystical Space Typhoon Traps (5) 1x Fossil Excavation 1x Torrential Tribute 3x Quaking Mirror Force Extra Deck (15) 1x Abyss Dweller 2x Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer 1x Daigusto Emeral 2x Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon 2x Diamond Dire Wolf 2x Evolzar Dolkka 2x Evolzar Laggia 1x Gagaga Cowboy 1x Steelswarm Roach 1x Super Dreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max

Effect Monsters (10) 3x Babycerasaurus 2x Miscellaneousaurus 3x Soul Eating Oviraptor 1x Tyranno Infinity 1x Ultimate Conductor Tyranno Spells (6) 2x Terraforming 2x Lost World 2x Fossil Dig Traps (4) 2x Two Pronged Attack 2x Quaking Mirror Force Extra Deck (10) 2x Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer 2x Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon 2x Diamond Dire Wolf 2x Evolzar Laggia 2x Evolzar Dolkka
