She was definitely a girl who doesn't know how to take a compliment. Probably had abusive or distant parents. It actually kinda pissed Mamoru off, and she let Reina know it. She hated it when people play off their accomplishments. They were either humble bragging or really doubt themselves, which in turn makes Mamoru own heartfelt and extreme actions feel less impactful when others do it better. Placing her hands on Reina’s desk Mamoru looked at Reina eye-to-eye. ”Reina-chan. We don't care about what others could have done if they had your powers. The only thing we saw, and the only thing that matters, was what you do with your strength.” Standing back up Mamoru waved her hand towards Acion to draw a bit of attention to him. ”Between Ezra and Acion, I'd argue that they were our strongest two in terms of quirk power. I honestly didn't expect anyone to force Acion into a serious fight without doing something crazy. And I mean so crazy even I'd have second thoughts about it! Reina-chan, I threw myself into a truck. You threw a truck at yourself! That's nuts and I couldn’t even imagine how that works! But against the odds you made it work and gave Acion one hell of a show.” And of course Mamoru had more to say. She took a moment to think about what she was going to saw and how to do it. Then she manifested her shield into her hands, looking at it before showing it to Reina. ”And don't misunderstand. We're not saying this stuff because we think you have an awesome quirk. Well, not just because of that. It takes a lot of heart to do what you did. And that's all you, Reina-chan! No one had to boss you around or direct you. It was your head that made up that crazy great plan. And it was your courage that allowed you to look at someone like Acion and think “I'm going to kick your ass”! Hell even when I dropped that crane on your guys, you didn't act like a scared little girl. No way, I saw it before I dove into the dust. You ran towards the falling, shattering crane and stopped it dead in its tracks! You're as crazy as me, but smarter, stronger, and waaaaaay cuter. So!” Leaving the shield on Reina’s desk Mamoru went up to the girl and gave her a little hug. She could tell that she was on the verge of crying and needed the affection and support of her new friends. ”Beleive me. Even if you doubt yourself, trust in me, who has faith in you. I know you'll be a great hero.” [@Feyblue][@Riegal][@Conscripts]

Donny Yang
Donny eventually packed his things and headed out to grab a snack to eat. He wasn't sure if he should be happy or sad that people were ignoring him. He had hoped that maybe someone would have been impressed that he was able to do so much damage, but sure enough they were all just appropriately horrified at the lengths he'd go to claim victory. He couldn't even feel sorry for himself; he was so caught up in proving himself to everyone that he forgot why he was even at this school in the first place. It really made Donny wonder if he belongs somewhere like Komei Academy. He didn't save anyone, nor defeat anyone, despite all the destruction he caused. He might as well had set off some fireworks during that battle, at least that would have been flashy and loud. He just looked down at the floor depressed as he shuffled his way to a vending machine, spending quite a bit of cash buying cookies, chips, and soda to stuff his face with. He just wanted to eat to forget. Sitting against the wall Donny opened a bag of chips. Sour cream and onions. His drink was a fizzy grape cola. He lauded his snacks out in front of himself as he ate alone and in silence. As he sat there he could hear voices down the hall. Or maybe it was just voices in his head. He didn't know, he didn't bother looking. ”They don't understand you. They just can't. You are too different, and in this day and age they just won't agree with you. It's just like how it's always been. We've been. Nothing more then a… A pet, at best. If we're obedient we get treats and pats and nice words. But the moment we bare our fangs or growl, we're the beast that needs to be put down. You saw how they all looked at you. They don't even fear you; they don't trust you. They don't think you're a hero. They don't understand what you’re been through and what you're trying to do. They'll never understand you. They don't want to.” Donny thought to himself, eating snacks and quietly crying to himself.
