After all, she was terrible at talking, and never knew the right thing to say... It was better to let everyone else speak. They'd know how to keep her from being sad, right? And yet... Fumika felt like she had to say something, because what Reina said sounded a lot like how she herself felt. "I can copy people, which lets me use their Quirks, too," She started in the only place she really knew for sure: herself, and her own experiences. It might not have been immediately obvious to the others where exactly this train of thought was heading... at least, until she continued. "But I can only create what I've taken the time to copy by watching it, and I don't have much energy to use to create things. Reina is really strong, so even if I made a Reina, I wouldn't be able to do much with that strength before I got tired and burned out. And I couldn't control it nearly as precisely as the real Reina." She hugged her more tightly. "That's why you're wrong. Reina with Reina's Quirk is better than anyone else with Reina's Quirk, because Reina knows how to use it best." This was the best she could think of... The best words that she had to offer. But if it was anyone else, they'd have known how to say it better. They would have understood. She was the strange one, the one whose words didn't make sense. But... then... what had they said to her? Her mind drifted back to a warm summer day spent following the hero she herself had most looked up to. That had been only a little while after she'd met Haruka. And, after seeing how amazing her Quirk was, she'd been more than a little awestruck. You're so strong and fast and cool. You can do anything! You're like... like a real hero! I wish I had a Quirk like yours, instead of... Fumika's eyes lit up, and she remembered. The words she'd heard back then were definitely the words Reina needed to hear now. So, tugging her head back, she stared Reina straight in the eye, and spoke with a sudden conviction, confidence, and power that was completely at odds with her usual demeanor, as if somebody had just uploaded an entirely new personality into her brain. Not even her inflection or her body language was the same, but her intentions remained the same. "'What're you talking about? What kind of Quirk you have doesn't matter one bit. It's all up in here," She tapped one finger on the side of her own head, and gave an uncharacteristically cocky and charismatic grin. "Whether your Quirk's so weak it couldn't even hurt a fly, or so strong that you could beat anyone... I'm tellin' you, it doesn't make a single bit of difference! What matters is your drive - how much you want to succeed, the things you believe in. Stuff like that. That stuff's important, because that's what pushes you to act. That's what decides how you use what you've got, and therefore, that's the only measure of how far you can really go. In the right hands, even a useless Quirk can do a lot of good, while in the wrong hands, a powerful Quirk can just make bigger problems. You, though... You're the right person with the right Quirk! So, don't think about what you can't do, or what somebody else could do in your place. Think about all the things you can accomplish, and then you'll realize it. You can do anything if you put your mind to it.'" She took a deep breath, then exhaled, shaking her head slightly. Just like that, her body language, expression, and presence were right back to how they'd been before. "Haruka once told me that," She said as if this explained everything. "She was always right about everything, and she'd say the same thing to you if she heard what you just said. So, please don't be sad, Reina. You were really heroic." [@Riegal][@Lucius Cypher][@Conscripts]
