[@Windstormugly] [@Bishop] [@Silvir] [@Blueflame] Outside both ships, in the middle of the battlefield, it seems that most of the fighters are putting their focus on the Typhon for firing. However, it seems some of them are no longer caring that the Merchant ship is in the way, as their lasers began hitting the merchant ship in the crossfire. The Merchant ship, as a result, is taking considerable damages from said crossfire. A clear sign for everyone inside that ship: Time was running out. ------------------------------ The Typhon- Bridge Arron looked at the holographic AI as she spoke to him...in sort of pirate speak no less. "Ha, I like ye already!" He said to her with his own devious smile as he watched what was going on outside. However, it was around the end of what she was saying that did catch his attention, looking towards Sara as she lets it slip. "Working for the Empire, you say? That Jar on me ship was an imperial worker? ...I'll have to 'ask' him about that little tid-bit of info later." Arron said to her. Honestly, it did not surprise him as much as Sara likely believed it would. Most mercenaries have taken at least one job for the Empire in their life time, and it was hard to blame them when the Empire's the master of the galactic economy. Still, that Victor was most recently an Imperial Mercenary was somewhat unnerving. It's very possible that his last job hasn't necessarily ended yet...Still, what was the Empire having him do that required taking an AI from their own capital ship? Or was Sara here a reward he gave himself for a job well done? Questions for another time... It was then that he spotted that some of the ships were hitting the Merchants in the crossfire towards his own...They were starting to get desperate it seemed...No, it could be that they figured out that more of them were already boarded on the ship. To make things even more...interesting, was what Sara said next. It seemed the Lancelot fleet was now making their way towards them. He can only guess the L. Prime Governor's rage and desperation overtook his pride and ego, calling for backup from the other ships of the Lancelot system. Suffice to say, Arron was not expecting the whole of the System to be interested in them... "He must have REALLY loved that Chicken..." He thought. The situation was now getting more chaotic than he expected it to be...This was turning out a better test than he could have ever imagined, but it seems it was now reaching its endgame. That in mind, he pressed a button on a device on his ear. "Arms, Change of plans! Ye got 10 minutes to get everyone back aboard the Typhon with equipment and crew in tow, and 5 to get the Hyperdrive running once you do!" He said through it. Without giving Arms a chance to talk back at this quick change of pace, Arron then looked towards the three in front of him. "Pain, time to get this ship back to Boarding position! Scots and Hook, Cover us with all ye might! As for ye, Link, There's an energy line that goes directly to the engine room from this chair, and there's a few mechanism on that lining that blocks it up. I want ye to unlock the line on my mark. A little precaution Me former matey set up in case a whirlpool of trouble awaits us, and we're ever in need of some more sailing power. Oh, and tell Doc and Butch to get ready for patients, and rest assured by the time we're done here, there likely WILL be land-lubbing folk in need of their hospitality." Arron commanded. [@luna558] [@Hazy] [@Kimmininja] [@StormHeart] [@Atroposer] [@ReusableSword] [@Vortex] [@BKburke] ----------------------------------------- The Merchant Ship Arms, and everyone else on board could feel the shaking of the ship as laser fire began to strike at it. "Dammit, those imperial fools are getting reckless." Arms thought as tries to stabilize himself amidst the shaking. It was then that he heard a beep in his ear, and pressed it. "Arms, Change of plans! Ye got 10 minutes to get everyone back aboard the Typhon with equipment and crew in tow, and 5 to get the Hyperdrive running once you do!" He heard the Captain said, but before Arms could respond with how...difficult getting everyone from around the ship together in a fast retreat in ten minutes, Arron cut off the communications with him. "...Goddammit, Kid!" Arms could only say with a sigh. Captain's orders, no matter how difficult or how ridiculous, are absolute. If he's saying to get the Hypdrive working, it must mean they're about to have even more uninvited guests coming soon. Which means getting the engine stuff is paramount. With that in mind, Arms made his way towards the Damaged Engine room. [@Elevation] [@Tal0n] ------------------- The Captain and the last of the merchants that weren't captured or dead he happened to find as he walked, happened across two bizarre warriors who took out a number of his fellow merchants. As they began there march to continue, The captain immediately jumped from their hiding spot on a corner of the corridor and blasted a plasma bullet directly between the space of the two, one powerful enough that the radiant heat of which could be felt on their skins, outright ignoring both their armored plating for a quick second as it dashed past them and hit a wall, leaving a burn mark around the point of impact while the point itself glowed white and started to melt. "That's as far as you two go. Make one more move and the next one goes through your heads, or your heart, not really sure if I should go for the quick and effective, or the slow but painful yet." The Captain Merchant said. Tilting his head to signal the other Merchant he was by to come out and point their guns at them. It would be clear to anyone with battle experience that this guy clearly wasn't some defenseless merchant. The body signals, the jump he made, the accuracy and reaction to purposely fire a warning shot right between the two so quickly like he did, ...Whoever this "Merchant" was, he's clearly been in a war or two in his days. Though by the stance of his other Merchants, amateurs in comparison by the looks of their respective body languages as point their guns, not to mention the ones that the duo has already fought with, it seems the Captain's the only one with such experience. Likely trained the others with, though with not so much success. Made apparent when the vibrations from the cross fire blasts outside were getting worse, and while they stood their ground as best as they could, they were still slightly stumbling before getting back to position. "Seems like the ship's under attack. A pack of useless dimwits in fighters those Lancelot police, the whole lot of them! One big stupid-looking ship to fire on, and they can't even protect a simple harmless merchant troupe against it? Well, if we're going down, we're taking you all down with us." The Captain said. Incidentally standing right below another ventilation shaft. [@Warborn123] [@Lurking Shadow] [@Kessir Tarkin]
