I agree. Kill la Kill is just a fanservicier Gurren Lagann, and Black Lagoon is like a Micheal Bay wet dream but good. 

Although you're forgiven for missing out on Durarara, despite it also being quite good, Toradora is not something you can just skip over. I recommend you watch it at your earlier convenience.
