Krista Reynolds
With Roger's help, the Hou Yi managed to keep what was left of their commander's frame in as few pieces as possible. The entire time they spent bringing the wreck back to the NOAH was maddeningly quiet. No contacts on the HUD, no murmuring from the Hou Yi, only the seemingly muted instructions from the flight deck crew as they got closer and closer to landing. Every second they spend out there, Krista expected dozens of Cruxi contacts to suddenly light up her screen. Once they got close enough, the NOAH's own systems took hold of Elise's wreck. Krista couldn't help but notice how similar the procedure was to salvaging operations she'd seen on her home-world. She followed the instructions of the control room to guide herself back into her loading bay, the others conspicuously empty. She had to remind herself that she was returning early, not alone. Once the final power tether locked onto Hou Yi's legs and his motor functions disabled, she slumped in her seat. Letting out a long shuddering breath, she waited for signal that it was safe to leave the cockpit. She watched techs secure the Priwen, ensuring it's integrity. She pressed her hands to her face, tearing up and muttering to herself. "Crap, Ah can't believe ah got through that."
