As Kristina said that she was tired of running, and that she’d stay, Niesha couldn’t help the wave of relief that washed over her, and she closed her eyes tightly a moment, before opening them again, giving Kristina a nod, thinking that she understood, but… Kristina was well-liked in the community, and had a good place here. Niesha just mostly stuck to her routines. She sighed softly, not trusting herself to speak, listening as Ashton made his announcements, and thinking on Kristina’s words. Would James ever be allowed back into the community? It didn’t seem likely with Ashton as the leader, although she supposed nothing was impossible, these days. People survived when it didn’t seem impossible. Yet Niesha knew that Ashton had to think about the community’s best interests… but why did it feel like this wasn’t it? Maybe Niesha just couldn’t see the big picture. As the announcements were played out, Niesha didn’t think much on them. Jack had become a valued member of the community, and with the way things were, Froggy needed to focus on making sure there were enough people with medical knowledge. Doctors were few and far between. Which reminded her of learning to be a midwife. Was there anything more frightening then that? There was a lot that was changing however, something Niesha had had to become use to, over the last few months, but she still wished it didn’t have to change quite so much. She stood a moment, glancing about, before she looked to Kristina agan, ”I guess that’s that, then” she said softly, wondering what they were going to do now, glancing away once more, seeing Miss Sally leading someone over to Froggy and Ashton, watching for a second, before looking away, but movement caught her eye, causing her to glance back, as Miss Sally clutched her chest. Not that strange really, it had been a trying day for all of them, and her gaze slid over to Tatiana, pleased when she sat down in the wheelchair, glad she was getting off her foot. Frowning suddenly, she looked back towards Miss Sally and the others gathered there, saying almost stupidly, the realisation dawning on her, ”Is she having a heart attack?” She recognised shock in her voice, ,and uncertainity.
