Every hourglass has its time, but they all trickle empty eventually."

Personal Information

Name: Grim Reaper "Although I'd prefer it if you called me Lazarus." Race: Death God Gender: Male Appearance: Tall and lean, with short chopped black hair. His eyes are as dark as his hair, with a lively, piercing quality. Asides from his regular clothes, he adorns a large black cloak that seems to blend with the shadows. He has a very child-like and boyish air about him, and rather long and expressive eyebrows. Attractive by human standards, in fact, one could even call him heart-stoppingly handsome. Bio: After the Divines War, the gods secluded themselves, shying away from the daily lives of mortals. Those few that lived needed to take up the jobs of the gods that were lost; and, more importantly, to teach the next generation. Gods aren't just born everyday - the birth of one, is an extremely rare event, more so if they are powerful, especially those gods that were not born of normal means - if such a word even apply's to the creation of so venerable a being. With so few gods remaining, it, the spirits of the dead began roaming freely, no longer guided or trapped in whatever afterlife awaited them. It was under these conditions, through the lingering life-force of the dead gods who wished to do their duty, and the resounding cries of mortals who yearned for the return of a semblance of normalcy and order, that a Grim Reaper was born. Upon his birth he knew his purpose and he knew how to fulfill it. Young though he was, he was already proficient as a ferryman of souls, and for two decades he did his task in silence, more machine than living being. However, as the years passed, doubt began settling in - a doubt that grew as he reaped more and more souls. Each one was so different and vibrant, each with their own splendour or darkness, and yet he himself realized that he was empty. In time, he grew increasingly dissatisfied with himself, wondering if one such as he would make for a good grim reaper. For he believed death to be an end, and ultimately, a relief. What could a hollow being like him know of comfort, though? And so he has temporarily forgone his duty, leaving his task to other, less-capable beings. In time, he developed a semblance of personality, and yet he felt like it wasn't enough. Eventually, he was convinced that the only way to truly shape himself into a being worth of being grim, he would need a true education. To that end, the academy was the perfect place to come to.
Abilities and Skills:

Abilities:
I Know Your Name: He has the ability to know the name of any living being he sees. Body of the Grim: As a death god, he possess the god-like strength and durability to match, as well as the ability to heal and regenerate from even severe wounds. It would take something truly incredible to harm him permanently, as he can regenerate even from having all of his limbs sliced. He can also turn invisible or blend with the shadows, as well as change his appearance at will. He can exhude an aura that makes him extremely frightening, or attractively comforting - which of the two those subjected to the aura will feel is dependent on how they feel about death, and is not something he can control. He can make his body translucent to pass through solid objects. He can also fly. As a reaper, he cannot disrupt the life of a mortal, therefore, unless attacked first, Lazarus cannot bring any harm whatsover to a living being. Unless it is in relatiation, he is literally incapable of actively conceiving of a thought that involves hurting another, or of ending their life untimely. Moreover, even if they were to attack first, he can only use as much strength as is necessary to defend himself and subdue the opponent - he cannot end their life if it is not yet their time. Soul Gaze: To know the sum and measure of a man, what they are capable of doing and capable of becoming - to know what they are at their core. To see their sins and virtues displayed as though it were on paper. He can do this with but a glance. None can be made liar in front of him, and the facets of the living are made evident to him as plain as day. Ferryman: Lazarus can shorten or widen the distance between him, and any living being. Reaper: In the end, Lazarus is one who takes the souls of the dead, or delivers one to their timely end. He has the ability to summon a wicked scythe that detaches one's soul from their body at the moment of their death. Alternatively, it can be used to instantly slay those already dead, cutting them off from the cycle of reincarnation or else consigning them to the void enternally. If used on a being who is not yet scheduled to die, regardless of how aggressive they are, then it passes through them harmlessly. Sand-dial: Who, where, and how a person will die - that knowledge is all stored in the sands of the hourglasses that Lazarus may summon as he pleases. So long as they are mortal, they have a sand-dial, and as long as they have a sand-dial, Lazarus will know the manner of their death. Purification: Evil spirits, beware! Lazarus is capable of forcibly purifiying spirits and sending them back to the path of reincarnation, or even sending them straight to heaven/nirvanna/ect.
Skills:
Guitar player: Yes, he can play a guitar. Mourning Violinist: Yes, he can play the violin too. Artist extraodinaire: A gifted painter and sketched. Mostly creates bright, cheerful, artworks, but is capable of much more maccabre pieces.

Submitted just in case no one else fills the needed spots!
