Like most of its inhabitants, he holds emerald green eyes and a dark brown tone of hair both on top of his head and on his face. A light beard grows on the lower-half of his face, not being too long nor too short to be distracting or ugly. His build, as previously said, is fairly well built, but nothing he can brag about, not that he would. A small scratch mark or two lays upon his left cheek and admittedly are his prize and trophy over the triumph of the recent Ty' Nea rebellion.

As someone who prefers to stay somewhat on his feet moving, his attire doesn't fully give the image to someone who would. Marlay's clothing and gear-setup balances both a somewhat sturdy defence alongside the freedom to move around without too much difficulty. The main armour plating is focused on key areas around the upper body and weak-points on the knees and shins. Over the chest plating, a single-strap harness wraps around the upper-torso down to the hip, where the back-sheathe for weaponry is stored and pockets can be found in the upper and lower regions of the strap. Items for general use and other combat utilities can be stored here, though the are usually kept empty or light of resources. Two small unpowered daggers sit in very tiny sheathes on his chest. Whilst it doesn't do much against the largest of threats, during the Rebellion of Ty' Nea it proved its worth as a backup weapon, acting as a sort of lucky charm for himself. Whilst the colours of his attire can differ, it usually spread between a dark maroon or a deep blue, as seen above, with the rest of the patches remaining grey. Though the cape is more of a ceremonial piece to his attire, it sometimes remains on during battles if there isn't enough time to wrap it up, store it in a nice container and deploy himself into a battle without anyone dying in the process. For a less-battle anointed scenario, the armour piecing can be removed and extra coating can be put on top for a more relaxed look.
Personality Marlay De' Sig is a very well-brought up man. Built upon discipline and using initiative to get work done, he has earned the title of a Serviceman well, well enough to gain the small promotion he got. Though not an avid leader, he can definitely say his communication and work within controlled military grounds and operations toward his team is on point and acceptable. During the chaos of upcoming invasions, his teamwork may dwindle at the sight of danger, as his compassion towards keeping team-mates, and especially friends, alive can be seen as both a strength and weakness. Though he puts others before himself first, he's not the hot-headed type to charge ahead before enough to soak up the arrows and shots from flintlock pistols just so his team could survive. He tries to keep his team alive with careful planning and consideration, having a good understanding of tactics in many types of conventional and unconventional war tactics used by both opposing militaries and rebel insurgents. However, he can easily admit that sometimes his will to survive may influence his combat style, making him quite a hasty member of Team Horizon.
Serviceman Team Team Horizon - A team with a legacy of discipline and good performance, Horizon still tries to live up to its old name, now in the face of an unpredictable invasion. Serviceman Rank Upper-Serviceman - Ranker Classification

Marlay's weapon, nicknamed the Scorching Suns, are a pair of swords that can be bonded together, usually always, for the creation of a double-bladed staff-like tool. Whilst the combined bladed together is the preferred fighting style and build for his weapon, if times are desperate he can resort to simply holding each blade individually. Like most, if not all, servicemen, his weapon is infused with Reshu Crystals of a Firebrand classification, meaning it uses the elemental effects of heat to improve its capability against armoured targets. Specifically, the weapon rather raises the temperature of the blade artificially, and shortly, to allow deep and burning stabs or strikes to be made. Specifically for digging into thick skinned animals like the infamous 'Bone-Bears' (Traditionally known as the Je' Nahoi) or armoured rebels, this weapon provides somewhat use to larger targets. This can be activated by a small build in trigger. In addition to this, a very small 'Pepper-shot' box acts as the connection node for the two blades. This node can also be used in self-defence as a concealed weapon, though it works best on the blades. The shot takes time to reload, but it is designed to injure or remove close up targets if reactions cannot be compensated for. Specifically, a metal-ball buckshot sprays out of the firing hole, only for very short distances. On a side note, the two daggers on his harness are rather collectables from two battles fought during his early days as a Serviceman. The first is a blade from a Forest Cult reported for killing villagers and townsmen nearby, believing in heavy sacrifice and the normal crazy-cult stuff. The second is a fine metal blade designed under the image of the Kiriton Dynasty blades, used by the Rebels of the Butai "Dynasty", most notably known as the Ty' Nea rebellion. Both, too, are for personal defence if the main weapon becomes too distant to reach in time. He grew up in Harther with the intent on doing as much as he could to help whatever community he belonged to. Originally, Harther got into work at the age of 11, getting into the training businesses for the 'Cliff-Hangers' that were so notorious for the city. Whilst it was a dangerous job, he did have to face some risks, include breaking a few bones every now and then. The jobs were small at first, but by the time he reached 15, he was getting into the more complex jobs, such as cleaning the cliff-sides, mining Reshu Crystals and other ore veins buried within the cliffside. Either way, these were a good tasteful years for building up his obedience and usefulness as a person, making him quite an agile thinker and a somewhat decent tool-user. Though these skills seemed relatively easy to harness at a young age, he did however become inspired by the news that began to spread across the entire nation. A word spouted so casually that it could kill any man, at any instant, at any time. The word was something the Imperials didn't want, nor did Marlay. Rebellion. The Ty' Nea Rebellion, also known to the insurgents as the Butai "Dynasty". They believed that the Empire were giving them false hope for a threat that wasn't going to come. They obviously were referring to the Ushilion. But even with this in mind, they said that they were not preparing enough for any sort of invasion. Though the official cause and reason for the uprising were clouded by rumours and heralds, many of Harther went to join the Rebellion initially. However, whilst Marlay heard the reasons "He was told" about why the uprising was happening, he seemed like joining it was the right thing to do. However, he was halted in his thoughts when his uncle was brutally assaulted for being an Imperial supporter. After seeing first-hand the sort of brutish nature of the Rebels, he was soon to be the witness of the Battle of Harther Falls, where rebel sympathisers using the Cliff-hanging techniques started to kill of Imperial guards and footmen, eventually leading to quite the chaotic fight across all the districts of Harther. The fighting itself was chaotic and brutal, resulting in house to house and room to room Close-quarters combat, including deployments from several musket and Repeating Handcannon divisions to be sent to the area. The rebels too had muskets of their own, breaking out an even more deadly fight. Some people ditched weapons to personally beat their opponents to death as the true mettle of these courageous fightesr from both sides. The family of the Da' Sigs spent most of their time in hiding, hoping the Imperials would gain the territory of their district to save them, however, a different sign of hope came. The Servicemen, escorted by two squads of swordsmen, came to their aid, killing surrounding rebels and fortifications trapping the family inside. Seeing this act occur made the boy ever-grateful of the gracefulness that was the Imperial Dynasty over the nation of Limpith. Flash forward to the 16th year of his life, we see the boy leave his home, now back under the Imperial control, to join up into the Imperial military for the inner-feeling to join his nation in arms against the now out-of-hand rebellion. After surpassing the basic training camp that lasted two months, he was free to join one of the many branches to choose from. And knowingly, like most who thought they were able to make a drastic difference, joined the Servicemen. However, those who did were usually dropouts within the first week, not seeing the point in training to fight the Ushilion if they were not present. This led to smaller numbers and smaller classes being given for the next two years of training he had to go through. The first year of the Servicemen training was difficult, especially for Marlay. He was not the top of his class, easily, but he wasn't the bottom of his league either. He was somewhere caught in the midst of the chaos known as training. The second year usually revolves around constant training in physical abilities, trying to make each and every individual hone their skills to a more perfect action, making each and every Servicemen an able fighter with their own unique styles and knowledge of other styles. Their weapons and presentations were important here, and it was the fast-hands of Marlay that really shone here. The Scorching Suns, as appropriately named, became his handed-down weapons based upon his training records, and soon became his soul-mate. He was attached to the weapon at first, constantly cleaning it and tampering with some of the blade's configurations, however not much change was ever made. Yet, he still didn't reach the top of his class's league, but he did manage to get somewhat high, 9th to be exact. After his graduation, it was straight into the order of duty, where he would wait in several different Forward Operating Fortification Bases for specific tasks or operations to go on, mostly revolving around the rebellion that seemed to be on the backfoot from now on. Eventually, Marlay got his grace, and at the age of 20, he was able to participate in the final two major battles of the entire rebellion. This was where he was truly able to prove his weapon's capabilities in his own hands, as well as show his fighting techniques were both well taught and practised during the training years. Eventually, he was able to claim he killed Taron Von Heuf, one of the leading Commanders for the Rebel Alliance at the time, hence where his second dagger comes from. Though he suffered some injuries during the conflict and other small firefights, the only reminder of how careful he had to be in conflict was the simple scratches and scars on his left cheek, given by a blow from a serrated-edge trident owned by one of the Rebel captains at the time. At the time of the rebellion, Marlay served under the team organisation of 'Team Elysium', and finally received a promotion like most credited members of the Servicemen did at the end of the Rebellion. Finally able to prove his worth more, in his eyes, he earned the title of 'Upper Serviceman' but was unfortunately switched to 'Team Horizon' in the recent days. Now, grouped with different Servicemen he now had to adjust towards, he continued living the very short few weeks of peace that humanity had left before their ultimate foe arrived ashore the beaches of Limpith... Family Neta Da' Sig - Father, deceased during Rebellion Uhnae Da' Sig - Mother, alive and well in Harther Bruna Da' Sig - Younger sister, alive, a member of the Artillery Division of the Imperial Army Virgil Da' Sae - Uncle, alive, Imperial Captain Theme song
