And it wasn't a suggestion that would build up a pain tolerance, it was closer to the opposite. A way to risk pushing said tolerance past the bodies limits. The idea was that if you were beaten half to death that healing in that particular way would cause you to feel as if the beating is professing to the end point and would risk ending with a perfectly healthy uninjured corpse laying where you were because your pain threshold pushed you into shock and then death. Was clarifying myself, not attempting to argue. I like sharing what I mean clearly.
