That was only part of the reason that she was pissed but as far as she was concerned that was all that the empath needed to know. It was a logical explanation to her reaction. No one liked failing at their job. She was suppose to make it so that Jess could get through life without being overwhelmed with other people's emotions and she wasn't doing that.

She pulled out her phone and started to pull up websites about the research being done on empaths and anchors. Maybe someone else had experienced something similar and they could give her some suggestions on things that would cut the empath off completely the way she was supposed to be.
