"He doesn't like people hurting me. Leave him alone!" Despite her bold tone, the girl backed away from Gage, watching him warily. Nor did she follow him right away, instead going back to Norman and Cecil. "I don't want to practice with him," she complained softly, wrapping her arms around herself. "He's mean, and when he ends up hurting someone bad I don't want it to be me. And besides, I wanna keep Cecil company." The Machina always seemed nervous, and she knew healers could be scary for people. Amuné knew better, of course -- her mommy wasn't scary at all, even if she did get stern with her patients who did things that would make them worse, but not everyone had a mommy for their healer so they didn't know. "Just so he knows nothing bad'll happen. ...I-I can practice after. I mean, I /could/ have gone eat, but I didn't so I could be here, so it's not like Gage is doing any waiting he wouldn't be doing anyhow...." Eventually the pair's reassurances convinced her that Cecil really would be okay, but she still dragged her feet as she followed Gage, one hand wrapped awkwardly around the crossbow, the other tangled in Wyth's thick fur. She gave the scary man as wide a berth as she could manage, and if he wanted the crossbow she held it out as far as she could so he wouldn't get too close, and immediately backed away again. Any attempt to come near so he could adjust her stance or show her things was met with an emphatic shake of the head and a hasty retreat. She was just fine watching from several paces away, where Wyth could intervene if he tried to make good on any of his threats.
