"If Trip can't teach you, I will," Ally said in response to Zoey's fears. It was like she could see right through her. Zoey may have played Lacrosse for the past 6 years, she might know how to push someone around on the field, but she had never once thrown a punch at another person. She had always thought of herself as pacifist, it wasn't until recently that she realized that words don't always cut it. Especially when the deck is stacked against you. "If I can help in any way, I'll see to it." Aimee responded. This lifted Zoey's spirits. Aimee's brother had taught her to protect herself, and he was a cop. Even if Trip didn't want to be a part of this...they could still do it. Everyone here could work together. "Thanks guys" Zoey said quietly "I want to help, I really do. I've been wanting to help for a while now...I just didn't think you guys felt the same way." She looked down at her feet, ready to admit something to the group "I've been making these drawings, of myself as a superhero, since my Dad died. I've felt really powerless... like what was the point? I just, this means a lot to me. Even if we don't end up fighting crime..Just to know I'm not alone."
