She really likes to destroy stuff. [b]└People Person -[/b] Oddly enough, Sidney has the social skills of a functional adult. She can, if need be, act as a leader. Though, telling the person who handles all of the explosives to go make a plan is bound to end in chaos. [b]└Thrill-seeking -[/b] Sidney revels in chaos and lives for danger. She has no qualms putting her life on the line for some action. Granted, this is a prerequisite for her line of work. [b]└Brash -[/b] Just like her true love, Sidney is loud and overbearing. She yells frequently, constantly breaks things, and has a rather inflated ego. [color=537056][b]Background:[/b][/color] [b]└The Legion[/b] Sidney was born and raised with them. A large group of mercenaries who had decided that order was needed on Enoh. They had created a sanctuary to protect the weak from bandits. Sidney, the daughter of two mercenaries, was taught to be a soldier for the Legion at a young age. She gained a knowledge of explosives and all of the training a child could get. Up until she was twenty, everything was fine. She occasionally fought, but she was never in grave danger. That was until the Legion began to split. Political disharmony began to churn the Legion. Some factions wanted one thing, others wanted the exact opposite. Soon, a full on war was raged. In the end, it didn't matter what side of the Legions you were on - it was all destroyed. Luckily, Sidney had escaped the Legion before the entire place exploded on itself. She brought along what little equipment she could carry, and began to wander. It didn't take long for someone with explosive skills to become a mercenary. Sidney usually worked alone. She could take care of herself. After a while, she gained quite a reputation. Eventually, she met with another mercenary group - the Devil's Runners. After "accidentally" blowing up the bandits they were meant to deal with, she was invited to join them; she did. [color=537056][b]Pros:[/b][/color] [b]└Pointman -[/b] Sidney is a natural lead in combat. A mixture of her quick-thinking, good shooting, explosives, and willingness to hit the frontlines make her the perfect candidate to lead a charge. [b]└Combat Sapper -[/b] Trained to be a combat engineer, Sidney can blow practically anything up. Her "engineering" doesn't end there - she can dig holes, weld objects, and even create explosives. [color=537056][b]Quirks:[/b][/color] [b]└Fine line -[/b] As a great man once said, there's a fine line between bravery and stupidity. Sidney's fearlessness makes her unable to think of any sort of consequence to her actions. [b]└Sniper > Shotgun > Rifle -[/b] Sidney doesn't actually have any sort of way to deal with being attacked from a distance. She could throw explosives at them, but she isn't a combat pitcher. [b]└Heavy -[/b] Thanks to the sheer amount of equipment she brings, Sidney isn't exactly a good runner. She has the endurance, just not the speed. [color=537056][b]Habits:[/b][/color] [b]└Explosive Hobbyist -[/b] Sidney has a tendency to... blow things up. If there's something in pristine condition, she will (without a doubt) destroy it. [color=537056][b]Equipment:[/b][/color] [b]└ASC Helmet -[/b] Designed to block shrapnel, the ASC Helmet acts as a gas mask and protects the user from shrapnel, heat, and just about any things that you can throw at it. While it can't take a bullet head-on, it can deal with glancing blows rather easily. [b]└Anti-Explosive Combat Armour -[/b] It does a good job at blocking shrapnel and heat, but still allows for unrestricted movement. Perfect for a sapper to use. [b]└HCAP Shotgun -[/b] High capacity and all purpose, the HCAP allows for the usage of all shotgun rounds - be it HE, AP, Salt, or regular rounds. [b]└Shotgun Rounds -[/b] Sidney carries a lot with her. She has mostly armour piercing and regular rounds, but she does have some high explosive, salt, and dragon's breath rounds. The last one is being saved for a special occasion, however. [b]└HE charge -[/b] Practically bricks of pure explosive energy, HE charges are the Sidney's lifeblood. Note that they don't have any sort of shrapnel attached to them, so as long as someone is behind something, they'd be fine. Probably. [b]└Dual combat shovels -[/b] When one hole ain't enough. Great for everything, really. From shoveling to paddling to even cutting food, Sidney uses them for everything. [b]└Engineering Kit -[/b] Filled with fuses, detonator caps, wiring, miniature blowtorch, and countless other odds and ends, it's the perfect tool for engineers.[/hider]
