Answering almost as soon as he had finished speaking, Seraphina’s shifted slightly over the spot in which she stood, her soft pink lips parting ever so slightly from one another as she let her gaze linger on him- he was one of the rare few in her life that she had placed her trust in over the years since her parents tragic slaughter… her heart shook with worry at the thought that he was willing to betray her like he had… it had to be- Gods, please let it have been a mistake…

Her voice trailing off into nothing, she paused, her arm lifting across her body to take a hold of her elbow as she shuffled back a couple of steps, her shoulders hunching over as though she were trying to make herself seem smaller than she actually was as her mind flicked back to the memory; the flash of red, and the blood curdling screams playing over in her mind enough to make her flinch before she shook her head, causing her long blonde locks to brush lightly across her back, [color=Goldenrod]“..w-what if he wished to do to me, what those… those… those [i]monsters[/i] did to my parents..?
