The Minotaur chuckled as the holy water sprayed over it.  Maybe it was Maybelline, maybe it was because it's skin has been scorched for centuries on the plains of hell, what ever it was the Minotaur threw back its head, his hair whipping back as he did; and as if it were in slow motion the beast shook its head from side to side before he finally rested his eyes on the halfling.  A genuine smile spread across its face as the kind gesture was well received by the beast.  The beast roared, charged, and tore the halfling apart; limb from limb.  The carnage was so awful, even the Gnoll heaved.

I think it failed.  ;)
