You're right, that was unfair... I suspect that a normal barge moves at a speed of about thirty feet (six spaces) per turn, provided a turn lasts about ten seconds as described in the 5E rule book. Or any version of D&D really. But since you keep calling this barge a train, I have to assume it can move at least twice that speed, maybe a little faster. Hell, let's say it can move eighteen spaces (ninety feet) per ten seconds. We'll pretend it's the oceanic express. Easily the most bad ass water train of them all. But according to 5e rules, especially at Aer's level, a rouge can dash as a free action. That means that her move actions carry her twice as far. So instead of moving six spaces as a move action, she can move twelve spaces. and she can move a total of twenty-four spaces if she uses her move and attack action in a single turn. That's a hundred-and-twenty feet for ten seconds of movement. And if she has the trailblazing feet, her base movement speed goes up two spaces. So it's eight, sixteen, thirty two! A hundred-and-sixty feet per ten seconds compared to the train's ninety! And she's not even using any movement buff spells yet! I think she could catch that barge fam.
