[@The Whacko]Well, the only problem I see is his backstory, as it mentions him avoiding superpowered battles. You read the history section, right? There are no overt superpowers prior to the start of the game. Now, since your character uses more subtle methods, he could go around dealing with ghosts and stuff under the radar if you want him to have been at it for a while, but there wouldn't be any big super fights going on in the streets or anything.

Basically, any supernatural, alien, or otherwise non-mundane occurrences are all very low-key and subtle up till this point.
