What a lazy prick. Surely he could go get his own beverages whilst he muscled through the crowds to go get them the food. That annoyed him, so he figured he’d insult him for that, at least that’s what his instinct was telling him to do. “Go get your own drink you sunny cunt. Considering I paid for the food, the least you could do is go get the drinks for us.” Ezra spoke with a groan. He’d already finished a chicken and a steak, and was going at the other half of his meal. He was glad that he had gotten the food because it was filling him up nicely, especially after the fight that they had. It was around this time that he had been disturbed by a woman that had quite nice breasts, at least in his opinion. He quickly took his mind off this thought however as she requested the table for usage. He pondered at the thought, and thought immediately of the responses that his fellow diners would give. Roy would likely say no, whilst the girl that he had recently learned to be Kaida would respond in a different manner. He imagined she was meek/polite enough to give it up, so he figured he’d act in his own interest here, and not give it up. He couldn’t give a shit what these rejects could do to him, they could go find another table fit for them. “Sorry, I’m not tryna give up my table now, but ya can probably find another one elsewhere, aight?” he spoke, with enough tone in his voice to let the woman know to piss off. He didn’t explicitly want to state it, especially around new company, but he figured that you didn’t really get anywhere without being somewhat assertive. Roy folded his arms and gritted his teeth as Ezra called him a cunt, he definitely wasn’t gonna pay him back until they graduated now. A tall busty girl came by to ask for the table, the blonde boy was about to speak up before Ezra came in answering for the three. “Surely there are more tables” Roy said his tone a bit defensive. “You guys should have accommodated for more student surely.” He said before turning back to Kaida and Ezra. “What kind of drinks do you guys want, It's on me since this hungry bastard won’t get them” the boy said with a smirk as he put his hands in his pockets. His eyes widened when he peeked at Ezras plate and it was nothing but bones, he had eaten about 3 times the amount Roy did in record time as well. A eating competition between him and Donny would be a sight to behold. Kaida was quiet when Ezra cursed. She rarely heard people curse around her. It was rude and distasteful in the higher circles. She didn’t know how to act really, these two were calling each other names yet they were enjoying it. She wasn’t one to tell them not to do it, they grew up in a different way than her. It would be rude to force her preferences on them. Even though she wanted a drink, she also thought it was rude of Roy to expect of Ezra after buying their food. He may have just forgot, but he was also holding so many trays. She held her tongue though. She took a few more bites of her pulled pork sandwich to only realize that Ezra had finished half of his meal! Looking up to the boy with her gold eyes she was amazed on how fast he could eat. If she did that she would surely keel over. This was the time another tall girl came over to their table. Asking if they could use their table. Looking over to the group she was referring to, it seemed like an entire class was sitting at the bigger tables. While she was sure it would be fun sitting with all their friends. But even with such a large group, it didn’t matter as it would be hard for people at one end of the table to talk to the other. So having separate tables wouldn’t make a difference. But before she could say anything Ezra spoke abruptly. Then Roy. Looking to the girl she tried to give a smile. “I’m sorry, but we are still eating at the moment. ” She said as soft as a mouse compared to the two boys. She looked to Roy, and again someone offered to buy her something. She decided to just get a water. “I'll just have some water thank you…” She gave him a sweet smile. As she was sure that was free. The purple haired girl sighed and thought about what she should do next. She seemed a bit understanding, however her entire emotions were now hidden behind a mask and contemplation. She was tempted to do something when she glanced back to her friends. The leader of her group simply smiled and waved her hand, so the girl bowed politely. ”I’m sorry to hear that. It’s just that all the other tables are rather full, so I was hoping to ask those who don’t have many friends together.” “I’m sorry, but I don’t think are going to be moving any time soon. We don’t wish to be rude… but you can sit all together outside? It’s a lovely day out there for a picnic. “ Kaida said with a hopeful smile, hopefully she would agree. ”So little brother, have you eaten?” Asked Aurelia ”Not yet. I just came down here when I saw you.” He answered as they both moved indoors. ”Perhaps now I will have a selection.” ”The usual?” ”Yes, rice noodle soup with broth, beef and herbs. Simple yet it never failed to satisfy me.” ”Never would have thought your taste would be so Asianic.” She chuckled as her brother Acion moved in line to get the order. It was a long line, but it didn’t take too much time, since the serving was pretty fast. ”There we have it.” He said as they both exited the cafeteria and out to her old spot with Jais. But unfortunately, it was taken almost immediately after the duo left. Aurelia quietly cursed herself. She needn’t have left her seat, since she had already finished her meal. ”Is the cafeteria always this crowded?” She turned to Acion. She didn’t remember it to be this way. There wasn’t as many students back in her years. Perhaps the young generations are getting better and better everyday. ”Why do you ask me? This is my first day…Anyway, I’ll try to merge with a group. Hopefully, they will have a few seats to spare.” Acion looked around, noticing that he had a few options. First was Mina’s group, consisting of Mina, the glowing quirk user, the idiot Jett who called Acion a bird, and the fat guy Donny. Next was Ezra’s group, composed of Roy, Ezra...and a pretty girl, whom Acion had never seen before. He wondered if she was in his class, or she was only their acquaintance. The other was Kenichi and Fumika. He immediately crossed out the first group, considering Jett’s persona towards him. He wouldn’t be comfortable to swallow his food. Kenichi’s ok, probably, but Fumika’s...a little bit odd. She did ignore Acion’s previous introduction to her completely. So the best bet was probably Ezra’s group. Him and the two of the boys did have a ‘friendly’ conversation back in the nurse office. Quickly making his mind, Acion gestured his sister as he approached the trio. ”Greetings everyone. Do you have two seats to spare? We…” He looked towards Aurelia, and back. ”Kind of lost our accommodation.” Ezra decided that he’d get his drink on Roy. He didn’t feel bad about it at all, especially considering that he’d brought the dickhead dinner. He figured that he’d get something nice for a drink, considering that the tab was on him for this. “Get me a sprite.” he spoke as he stuffed another chicken leg into his mouth. By the time he had finished it however, he had already been disrupted once more, this time by the winged boy and a fairly cute winged girl. He was being harassed by attractive women today, and he honestly didn’t know how to feel about it. Perhaps they were out to trick him or something. It seemed that he wanted to sit on the same table, and given his performance in the fight, he had absolutely no issue with that. He had earned his spot, and the girl that looked oddly similar to him was cute, so he figured that should be fine with the rest of them. “It’s fine with me, given that ya asked so nicely. Who’s the girl ya with chicken wing, is she in our class or somethin’.” Ezra spoke, polite as could get given his heavy accent and the nickname that he had bestowed upon Acion. Roy smiled back to the girl when she decided on water, he was kinda happy he met her before everyone else did. She was genuinely a nice person, the boy turned his head over to Ezra who was pigging out. He asked for a sprite, this guy was really something else. “Alright no problem.” He said with a smirk. He left to go get the drinks before Acion and his sister arrived, opening up his wallet and heading towards the vending machine outside. He got himself some tea, as soon as he was about to get Ezra the sprite he thought to himself. “You know, Ezra got two of everything, would he need two sprites?” He thought to himself. “Nah, hes a douche” He said before pressing the sprite label on the machine, followed by the water label right after. He walked back towards the table with the drinks, “I got the drinks for everybo…” He paused as he saw Acion and his lookalike at the table. The same nausea he had earlier was starting to come back, it seemed he had arrived just as Acion did, being able to hear Ezra's question. Is this guy serious? Does he not see the resemblence Roy thought to himself. He handed the water to Kaida, “Here you go” he said with a smile. Roy wanted to roll the bottle over to Ezra but maybe that would have just started a fight, instead he placed the bottle right next to the boy. After all he didn’t mess with the boys food. Kaida looked up to the two who had walked over. Acion, as Roy mentioned to her earlier. Asked if he could sit with them, the other girl was with him as well but didn’t speak. Ezra agreed for them to sit down, as he called Acion Chickenwing she frowned. What was with these boys? She looked up to Acion and gave a sweet smile. “Yes that’s fine.” Looking to the girl she pointed to the seat next to her that was not Roy’s and said, “Please have a seat.” She now noticed the girl had a sword on her person. Her interest peaked slightly, as she had her sword on her waist as well. Not many heros actually carried blades nowadays. Except for the Frenchman she knew. She saw him use it in the battle with her father. She scooted over slightly closer to Roy’s seat to give the girl more room for her wings. Then looked to the both of them, “My name is Kaida Beumont, I hear that you are in A-1.” She said, looking at the boy. “I am as well…” She blushed. “I’m just a little late…” She looked to the girl, “But you are not a student are you? What brings you to this school?” She asked politely. She saw Roy offer her a water. It was bottled. He did buy her one dangit. Well she would just have to bake both of them something now. “You are so sweet Roy. Thank you. You really didn’t have to do that.” She looked to Ezra. “You as well. Both of you are so kind.” ”I am most grateful.” Acion thanked both of them politely ”Thank you.” His sister followed suit, as she bowed slightly Seeing that his proposal was accepted, Acion and Aurelia gradually moved to sit down on where Kaida was gesturing, his noodle bowl placed gently on the table. Acion slowly folded his six angelic wings neatly around his arms as he settled down, exposing only his torso. Aurelia did the same, retracting her wings as much as possible before wrapping them closely to her body. ”You are?” Acion wasn’t expecting the girl to be a student in his class as well, but he wasn’t in a position to be surprised over it, since it was still a possibility. ”Isn’t this a pleasure? Being in A-1, you must have had a good enough skill. My full name is Acion Nakamiji. May your heart be that of a true hero.” God… Aurelia watched as her brother introduced himself...awkwardly, from her perspective, and undoubtedly other perspectives. Oh dear lord what was she going to do with him? ”You...I do not prefer you talking so impolitely about my wings. Be careful not to choke on your own bad manners, little one.” She pointed at Ezra, her words threatening and berating, then turned to address the entire table. ”My name is Aurelia Nakamiji, otherwise known by the hero name ‘Sky Defender’. And for the record I am this stupid boy’s big sister. Please forgive his oddity...” She rested her hand onto Acion’s head as she said, with a sense of pride, which pretty much irritated the boy. ”You might have heard about my legacy here somewhere in this place, since I used to study here. I’m here today, however, is to deliver something to Acion, since he requested it.” She pointed at the metal gauntlet on his hand. Ezra shook his head as he opened his sprite and chugged half of the bottle. Eating so much had left him quite thirsty, and the cool drink helped quench that, at least for a while. Him being called kind was strange to him. He’d been called a lot of things throughout his life, but kind was something that he had quite possibly never heard throughout his entire lifetime. It was eerie to him, but he rolled with it. He figured she was just exaggerating to seem polite. His thirst returned when Acion gave his incredibly cringey introduction, to the point where Ezra had to cover his mouth to stop himself from choking in laughter. He had purposely muffled himself at the kid, because he genuinely couldn't contain the hilarity of it, at least to him. It didn’t seem like the rest of the group found it as funny, but he did notice the girl he was with internally facepalming, which he grinned at somewhat. He felt sorry for her in a sense. This was up until where she decided to try start some shit with him, which he didn’t take kindly to. She seemed pissed off about the comment toward Acion, but she seemed to take it personally for some bizzare ass reason. He wanted to swing for her but causing a scene would solve nothing so he quietly controlled his anger, clenching his first underneath the table as she introduced herself as his sister. He never heard of this bitch, and he was fairly sure he could knock her dumb ass out if he fought her. He was too angry to listen to anything else she had to say so he took another drink of sprite and leant back on his chair, trying to simmer down a bit. As Roy took his seat he rubbed the back of his head as Kaida thanked him, “I mean Ezra did bring the food, least we could do for causing you trouble” he said his face slightly red. He opened up his bottle of green tea bottle realizing that her seat was closer before, he tried his best to ignore though she was less than arm's length away. His train of thought was broken by another one of Acions priceless introductions. Roy rolled his eye before the lady with her began replying back to Ezra’s insult. He knew Ezra wasn’t gonna take it nicely what she said, he placed his green tea down and prepared for the worst. Ezra was most likely the most ill tempered out of the class but he wasn’t dumb, it made Roy unsure of how he would react. It came to a surprise when he just leaned back in the chair and kept drinking the soda. The boy let out a sigh, relieved that it wouldn’t escalate. The girl introduced herself as Sky Guardian and being Acions sister. “I may have heard of you, though I am sorry my memory is rough. It was most likely a year ago I may have seen you on Tv for the first time.” He said trying to be polite. “If you don’t mind I ask, what is that metal gauntlet for?” “There was no trouble Roy… just a fortunate accident.” She said with a smirk. If Ezra didn’t walk into her, she may have been sitting alone at this moment. Kaida gave a confused smile at Acion as he greeted her, “U-u-m you as well? Thank you.” She said as she looked to Aureila who looked like she was groaning inwardly and then to Ezra who was stifling a laugh, and Roy who simply rolled his eyes...was this a normal greeting from the six winged boy? She looked to Aureila as she apologised for her brother, then continuing to explain who she was and that she went to school here as well. She glanced down and looked at the sword on her hip, Kaida’s hand touched the silver pommel of her own. The only swordsman here that could have taught her was The Frenchman, but she could have very well learned from her father or mother. Roy asked what the gauntlet was for, while she noticed the box of heavy armor she spoke without realizing it. “Judging by it’s weight and also the fact that it would be impractical for combat for someone who requires speed and mobility. “ She said motioning to Acion’s wings while looking at roy and ezra, “... I would guess it's for muscle and endurance training. If he were to fly around with that most of the time, getting used to the extra weight. Theoretically it would help him become stronger and even faster without it during a battle. Though if he would use it constantly as many people try, it puts a lot of unnecessary strain on the body…thus giving chance to unneeded injury. ” She looked to Acion and Aurelia and said softly. “My father had me do a little of it while training with the sword.” She suddenly realized that was the most she spoke, and it was about training. She flushed even more that she answered for Acion while he was fully capable of doing so himself. “Sorry...I didn’t mean to interrupt you.” ’Perceptive…’ She could see through that training methods without any effort. It appeared that she knew it fairly well. ”No, it saves me from explanation. It is exactly what I intend to say.” He looked to the gauntlet, his eyes filled with resolution. ”But I will be using it constantly though. Because when muscles strain themselves, they will grow stronger and tougher by the time they heal. And I want to see my true self, my true inner will, to see if I can really take to this challenge.” Acion then looked at Kaida, with a slight hint of admiration. ”There may be some substance to your abilities...you trained with your father did you not? That’s a good thing, since the only person I wanted her to teach me was always away...” His irises drifted to his beloved and annoying big sis. ”Don’t blame me for having to board at Komei…” She replied, her face pouting. ”But you trained in swordfighting? Hmm, interesting. Jais may be able to teach you further in that regards.” Her eyes turned to Kaida, or specifically, her sword holstered on her thigh. Ezra had been ignoring the rest of the conversation as he tried to restrain his anger. Quite frankly, he couldn’t give a shit about the rest of the people on this table as he knew he could wreck any of them in a fight, and that was all that mattered to him. He was fairly sure none of them could stand up to him on a court either, so he had that going for him to. He was so angry in fact, that he finished the rest of his food before leaning back on his chair once more and looking toward the ceiling. Roy smiled back at the girl before taking another sip of the tea, she then went into deep detail of what the gauntlets were for. The boy slowly putting his tea down as he payed attention to Kaida talking. The way Acion was going to use the gauntlets was completely different from the way Roy uses his gauntlet construct. He placed his drink on the table when he heard that Kaida did that training as well as knew sword fighting. “Wow aren’t you just talented, you must be pretty tough then” he said with a smile. At last there was another person stronger than the boy. Another person he will have to strive to be better than. “How many years have you been practicing the sword?” The blond boy said folding his hands together while leaning back in the chair. Kaida frowned a bit. He knew this and yet he was still going to do so. When she did, it was only during training, when she had to wielded her sword. After she got the basics down of course. One had to give time for their body to heal. The strain she spoke of wasn’t of muscles...it was his bone that were receiving damage as well. When he would get older and his muscles weak, the bones the muscles were helping would start to falter. Her father said it happened to his father. She was thinking of Jean, of course. “You should still be careful. Becoming powerful quickly is nice… but it comes at a cost later in life. You have to think about the future beyond becoming a hero as well.” She said with a smile. He then said it was a good thing to be trained by her father. She nodded in agreement, it’s nice, but also hard as well. There was a new standard of becoming better in his eyes now though. Of course he was happy either way, but to make him even more proud, she had to work extra hard. “Thank you,” she said as he mentioned she may have substance to her abilities. Was it because she knew about the training method? Or that she actually trained like that. When Aurelia mentioned Jais she didn’t know who that was. She cocked her head to the side, “Who is this Jais? I haven’t heard of him. I do know of The Frenchman being here, it is the reason I came to this school in the first place. I long for the privilege to learn from him, not only in his sword skills but in his graceful movements and hand to hand combat.” She paused and looked at Ezra who had clammed up recently. A concerned look on her face could be seen as she noticed more heat radiating from him. He seemed to be bottling something up. She was distracted at the sound of Roy’s voice aimed to her. He complimented her, suggesting she must be pretty tough, with a smile on his face. She blushed and pushed a loose strand of hair out of her face and over her left ear. “Thank you…” she said meekly as her face flushed a bright red. He had no Idea though, what she could really do. She hoped he would never see it actually. Hopefully she would be able to become a hero without relying on her quirk...Just like the Quirkless hero of France The Frenchman. “I-I’ve been practicing for only Five years. But I’ve had a lot of time on my hands in the last couple of years to focus on training for this academy. I am nothing compared to The Frenchman, or even my father in skill with this blade.” She said, placing left her hand on her sword. Acion did appreciate her concerns. Indeed, his method was very rigorous, and it might came with a huge cost in his later years. Nevertheless, it would be worth it definitely. Becoming a hero is a divine destiny, a grace that God had given him. To banish evil from this land, to bring greatness to this world. What could be better than serving that grace of God? If he was able to choose fate, whether to become a short-lived but glorious shooting star, or a long-lasting but useless rock, he would gladly pick the former. ”I...appreciate your concern. It will not be overlooked.” Still, he should be thanking her. She was thoughtful, and he liked it. ”Considering your experience with your blade, I may consult you for some sword training lessons.” The boy listened to the words she said, “You should still be careful. Becoming powerful quickly is nice… but it comes at a cost later in life. You have to think about the future beyond becoming a hero as well.” He is pretty much at the bottom of the barrel. The only way from there was up, if he wanted to realize his dream he would have to break through the barriers people placed on him, the ones he placed on himself. Roy tilted his head down when she said that thinking deeply about those words. His train of thought was broken when she thanked him back. “O-oh uhh, your welcome” he said snapping back to reality, He really was surrounded by people who had a strength in their own right, Acion was fast, Ezra was strong, and this girl can sword fight. The boy sighed before finishing the rest of his tea before wiping his mouth with a napkin. He leaned back in his chair before hearing Acion ask for sword training, he blinked quickly before turning to the girl seeing what her answer will be. She sat up in her seat, surprised at the request with her eyes blinking a few times. She just said she was nothing like The Frenchman… yet he wanted to learn from her? Could she even teach someone? “U-u-um s-s-sure?” She was flushed obviously by the request. “I don’t think I would be a good teacher though...I still have a lot to learn myself.” She glanced at Roy who was looking at her. This caused her to flush even more. She felt all the eyes of the group on her. She couldn’t just refuse him. “If you don’t mind that, then I can show you a couple things…” She looked to Ezra, who seemed to be even brooding even more. She wanted to get his attention, but he was too far away and she was so short. She stood up and leaned over the table at an angle, and reached out and placed a soft hand on Ezra’s folded arms. Once he would look down, he would see her concerned gold eyes looking deeply into his. “A...Are you ok?” She didn’t realize she was sliding over just enough that she was practically on top of Roy, her hip was against his right shoulder pressing against him. She didnt notice of course because she didn’t know why Ezra was heating up so quickly. Oddly enough, she felt the heat rising around Roy as well. [@Conscripts][@Heartfillia][@Artymis] Sarge smiled back at the beautiful lady, "Im sorry Ms.Mako, duty calls. Possibly another time?" he said giving her a smile before heading off to maintain order in the cafeteria. She was beautiful but it was painful to think about falling in love with someone who was aligned with Evil.
